If they competed all season they would’ve win games in December and again the dolphins

    Billy SBC

To compete is one thing, to be competitive is another. The Jets had devastating injuries to their offensive line and the lost their likely Probowl rookie runningback in Breece Hall. It was a little too much to overcome. With a healthy offensive line and some added depth pieces for it the Jets should be a playoff team next season no matter which of these three QB’s is the starter.

    @Billy SBC agree

    Tom Brown

the Jets were a no show in the Seattle Seahawks game, with playoffs on the line they flopped.

mansees

Unfortunately you do not get a trophy for competing. Another wasted season!

    Billy SBC

Not at all. Lots of things were learned this season that will be very valuable in the offseason. We know we need to get our line healthy and get good solid depth, we know our recievers ar playoff caliber, we know our D-Line is one of the best in the NFL, we know our defensive secondary is ready for top competition, we know Breece Hall was a great pick. The Jets success this season hurt them and their failures hurt them too. Had the Jets not been so successful early on they would not have pulled Zach Wilson and he would have worked through his problems. Had the offensive line not been injured and Breece Hall not been injured too we would have been a playoff team. The difference between last year and this year is we now KNOW that with a few tweaks this team is going to the playoffs. We KNOW THAT now…

JD is truly the right guy for the job. Let him finish out his contract and go from there. I’m just afraid they’re going to run into another John Idzik or Mike Maccagnan if they let him go.

David Hall Jr

As a Jets fan I fully stand behind this Great organization in any and every decision JD forgot about Jeremy ruckert😭💯 Go Jets 🗣️💯

Chuck Bo

All nfl teams compete. The quality of compete is what counts. Coaching has a lot to do with it. What is he afraid of. Get rid of these coaches.

    Billy SBC

LeFluer should be lateraled over to Passing Game Coordinator, and we need a seasoned winning OC and QB coach. Those are the only changes and it doesn’t involve losing anyone but Calabrese.

Nasem Jackson

Not tru team lost they last 6-7 games in a row

eerreennee

JD, just Hire Sean Payton & let him have at it.

    Billy SBC

Why do that? All you need is an Offensive Coordinator and a seasoned QB coach?

DKBxJets

The 3rd year is always when we should have really expected to be a dougle digit win, playoff caliber team. We have more core pieces in place than most other teams so once we get this QB & o-line situation resolved it’s a wrap ✈

    Billy SBC

Yeah our biggest problem is trying to bring back a healthy offensive line with good depth. Quarterback isn’t really an area of dire need as many fans and sports talk people would seem to think it is. With a healthy line any of these QB can get us to the playoffs. GO JETS

We know Saleh won’t fire MLF so JD needs to step in and make the change.

    Billy SBC

Saleh isn’t calling the redzone and goal line offensive plays.

Billy SBC

It’s hard to be competitive when you’re working with basically a 3rd string offensive line a good portion of the 2nd half of the season. Too many line injuries forced new players to put into 1st string positions and then shuffled up in positions, this is not ideal when trying to win football games or train up a 2nd year quarterback. At least the Jets know what their #1 area of need is in the offseason, and strangely quarterback isn’t it. None of our QB’s did well behind this line this year, indicating the problem is not Quarterback. Good job JD, let’s get it next season. GO JETS!

The title is a straight up lie
