Thank you Tana, DHall, and Julie for keeping it real this season even when the coaches are telling us what we want to hear. It’s not easy doing what you do especially when our fanbase is dropping like flies. The ONLY thing that will revive this team is winning and I don’t see any of the Quarterbacks in the draft stepping right in and winning unless we get a true number 2 receiver and solve the injury issues. Until then I will always bleed Burgundy and Gold like I have since 1971.
These coaches need to get back to the basics and realize we are very young, go over things in camp like do not run out of bounds when we have a lead with less than 3 minutes left, don’t throw across your body into double coverage, basic things these guys should know but sometimes need reminding of. If we have one more 7 win season the remaining fans are not going to continue to be patient with Ron’s plan, including myself.

Bates, Charles, Cosmi, Gibson, McLaurin, Simms, Brown and Samuel poses a nice group of young players for an offense. Of course, we’ll need some young QBs over the next few weeks years but that will come. Defense is loaded with nice young players. Aside from QB an MLB play caller, Tight End and a true Free Safety would be nice. Definitely keep drafting top big boys in the early rounds. Schreff made his bed so he’s gone. He should have accepted the contract. Charles is a freak athlete and needs to get on the field. I’m happy we have Flowers back.

If the team is looking to trade for a QB they should include Chase Young in the trade talks while he still has the illusion of value. He will never have more than 4 sacks in a season going forward. Maximize his perceived value and get something in return for him.
chill man, he’s had ten sacks within his first 2 years while getting injured throughout half the second. no ones got a lot of sacks until after the tamps game,
@tommy riner Chase Young is just a guy. He has ONE move the speed rush. He can’t bull rush at the NFL level, he doesn’t have a swim pr a spin move…..he is just a guy. Trade him while he has perceived value before everyone realizes he is a huge bust.
@Nathaniel Corbin I agree but getting rid of Chase now while people in the league thinks he still has value would maximize the return on a guy who is going to go down as one of the biggest busts in NFL history.

CB, S, LB, OL….as always, take the best player available but these are the positions we need, as well as the obvious long term QB, but please do not trade away the future. We still have too many positions to upgrade.

Gibson has to take a big step in improving to be a 1000 rush and 50 catches. Chase has to have 15 sacks. Winston and a 1st round QB.
