@Jesse Wise LB position is thin. After Mosley and Williams, jets don’t have anyone proven. If any of these two or both get hurt, they will have to rely on these guys: Hamsah Nasirildeen, Del’Shawn Phillips, Jamien Sherwood, Marcel Harris, and DQ Thomas, Yikes. Let’s hope both CJ and Quincey stay healthy. I don’t think they drafted any LBs this year either.
@stib718 I don’t even know if I would include Williams on this list, personally. Hoping to see BIG improvement from him this year. Love the guy but he was a liability in pass coverage and got washed out too often on run plays.
@Serendipitous Slim Agree, Williams is a big question mark at best. I think JD will likely add another LB or two between now and the start of the season. Likely see who gets cut from other teams etc. but if nothing gets done, then it’s not looking good.

Whitehead and Reed has been my favorite FA pick ups this off season! The jets finally have dawgs…I honestly believe the Defense will be the backbone of this team. Can’t wait to watch them play!

Jordan Whitehead is 25 years old. Sauce Gardner is 21. DJ Reed is 25 years old. Bryce Hall is 24. Michael Carter II is 23. This secondary is going to be good for a really long time. The pass rushers are going to absolutely feast.

It’s very important to add really good players but really good players who are high character guys and well respected by past teammates and coaches. This is how you change the culture and it’s happening in New York
