    JUST AN IDEA:

    1. Cowboys decide to move on from Dak
    2. They trade him (plus other assets if necessary) for a top pick, other picks, etc.
    3. Trade those picks+your picks/players for another top-10 selection
    4. Now you can get a guy like Justin Fields to be the next Dak and a guy like Surtain to pair with Trevon Diggs (once Diggs grows up that’ll be 🔥)

    @Jesse Riedel just one thing to consider, with the injury Dak has, he will be less mobile and will likely suffer reinjury. The team needs to wait on the outcome before they throw down money.

    @s w you’re absolutely right…slipped my mind. If I’m Jerry, I place the second tag on him, and see how he’s doing in the spring. If he looks good, it’s negotiation time. If not, I either stick with the tag or rescind it.
