“The Sneakers Game” | 1934 NFL Championship Game Giants vs. Bears

Known as the “The Sneakers Game,” the Giants switched from cleats to sneakers to start second half for better traction on icy field. Trailing early in the fourth quarter vs. unbeaten Bears, the Giants scored 27 unanswered points. Ken Strong tallied two touchdowns and 17 points in the Giants’ first championship.
