The next step is to acquire a QB ready to play now, not several seasons down the road.
Drew Lock is our QB don’t be so quick to jump ship on him after ONE full season as a STARTER. He will do great things for this team with a 2nd season in the same system.
Isn’t it obvious by now that Denver’s plan at QB is drew lock as it should be? Denver hasn’t made a QB move for a reason and Paton literally just said the broncos are fortunate to have a QB already and they have a plan in place! And that there not going to force bringing in anybody! Paton was never going to replace lock just to replace him. Drew Lock is the starting quarterback for 2021
@Judah Max I would go get a guy like fields or lance but keep Lock as the starter next year. If he turns into a star trade away lance or fields and if he sucks we a got our future qb in fields or lance
@Clay Covert I like lance he’s growing on me and I like fields. Neither would beat out Drew In year one, and if drew flames out this year yeah we have our replacement. I just don’t think it’s worth going qb this year when you can add a generational elite inside backer like Parsons man that size and ability and runs 4.4 blazing speed is hard to pass up on

I must admit I wasn’t a huge Shelby fan but he’s a self made guy and has earned my respects as a player and he loves the broncos and truly earned his payday. This guy has been on prove it deals the last 2-3 years and he’s done just that…. proven it! I think this contract is going to make him go even harder
