Absolutely True. Especially when you take in Account that Both Bill and Andy BOTH had Prior Teams before Finding Success and Sean Payton hasn’t won another Superbowl Since. Also Add Neither Bill’s Division, Sean Payton’s Division( Not Including the last 2 years of Add Brady Lose Bree’s Era) Division and Andy’s Division pretty much has been Decimated compared to the AFC North Rivals… Mike Never had an Easy Road like Playing The Jets The Dolphins and The Bill’s each year in their worst times ever..

@Cam G Yes the Steelers are a top 5 organization. From all time wins, to probowl players currently, a destination players want to come to, organizational stability and division wins.
There are more to success of an organization than super bowls. Compare other organizations and the Steelers are among the top 5.
They did win the division last year as well.
They are now in a rebuild and still competitive.
This is being realistic not ust emotional or excuses.

@King Dawg Ok but how much longer is any of thag going to really matter in a full rebuild which will happen eventually? Once again all accolades in the world doesn’t mean squat if the performances they’re putting out aren’t what they are supposed to be. Top 5? Maybe the organization from what I see has become lazy and they have been doing the same crap each season expecting a different result all those fancy achievements have gone to their heads and they have played like a losing franchise for quite some time now so sorry if I want them to be better and not just except their past successes that really don’t mean a whole lot to me if I know the team itself is a disaster

@Cam G If you think the team is a disaster then I can’t help how you measure that. I too want the team to do better. The thing is we measure the Steelers against their past greatness and I’m ok with that and I’m also realistic to the NFL landscape and the difficulties of building and sustaining a winning team each year.
Change in inevitable for us right now but they still have to play games as the change is occurring so it will not look like super bowl Steelers all the time. Every team goes through it but our down years are 8-8 and not 4-12. Thank God for that

@King Dawg I get it every team goes through rough years I’m not saying they have to be great all the time the past successes are great but not if they aren’t looking towards the future and wanting to improve rather than be satisfied with the past like “we got six titles we’ll be ok” no the teams before you have six the current team don’t have jack in the end I get it we just won last night and it makes me think they need some tough love from the media and fans to wake them up change is inevitable you’re right and I’m excited because thats what this team so desperately needs

I’m with you Melvin and I’ve been a Steelers fan for about 55 yrs!!! I do how the Steelers win tomorrow, but I’m a realist and know what’s going to happen!!!!!

Thanks Ben for the good, but I’m pretty sure you’ve had more bad than good years!!!!! Please retire and let this team move on, good or bad!!!!! I truly appreciate the pain and injuries that Ben has endured, but you can see the way he plays now, a lot of damage was done, especially when he threw half his arm out there on the field!!!!! Enough is enough!!!!!
