I’m not sure where Paton is taking this team.

JacksonCoe

Which way did he go George, which way did he go….. VON? Really? Von? I mean, this man is a Broncos Legend!! Any other man than Von!! Do right by Von by WINNING WITH HIM!!!

    Travis Kautz

Exactly how I feel. why would you ever think that trading the face of your franchise is a good idea? Will never understand this decision

    lewis bryant

Let’s be honest, Von was at the highest trade value he will ever be again and finally not injured. At the end of this year we’d have to let him go for free.

They would have traded him for the past 2 years but he’s been injured, this way they get something for him rather than nothing.

I don’t like the move and I’m as sad as the next fan to see him go, but it’s business.

I just pray to Christ that george doesn’t now use this capital not to draft or acquire a top tier QB

Jonathan Cheverez

Y’all need to stop being so emotional….love Von, but it’s a business. This was best move for Broncos. Y’all would’ve been mad if he didn’t resign after this year, which he wasn’t going to.

    Macho Reyes

Best move??? So we should win every game from now on right? Please explain the this such amazing business deal that we got cause I don’t get it…

    Jonathan Cheverez

@Macho Reyes win every game from here on ? You should like a 12 year old making an argument. No. We won’t. Nor were we winning with Von…also, he’s 32, also he’s injured, also he has an expiring contract, also he was going to leave after this year and Broncos get nothing in return….if you don’t get that, move on to another comment please 😀

Devin Taylor

This was Vons team. I think they are trying to make this teddys team and it doesn’t make any sense. They could have literally traded guys that wouldn’t be here next season and get those picks. Gordon, Patrick, Kyle Fuller, Graham Glasgow.

    Macho Reyes

Exactly!!! That kid grew up with us! Like he said all he knows is the Broncos! And here come Gorge Payton with his trash! And the disrespect from these so called fans bro that don’t understand that VON needed to end his career man ima just stop…

    Michael Lazzeri

Mr Taylor , I disagree ——-this was no longer, ” Von’s Team ” , no way. Still, it was time for him to go to a team that has a real shot at a SB.

TAKNbySTORMOFFICIAL

I’m ready to see WHERE this team is headed. The Von trade had to happen.

    Macho Reyes

It’s heading straight to hell buddy! I don’t know how long you been a fan but your patience baffles me! You think this team is doing anything with a bunch of rookies and washed up Vikings players he keeps bringing to the team

Kaimana Swann-Merritt

People need to stop crying and being all emotional 💯 it’s for the good on both sides. Think future 🤩

    Amy Bright

    💯

Connor Mack

Should have sold more.

Jacki Marshall

Fire fangio and his crew..

Francisco Joaquina

Can we please get a veteran experienced top level QB………..PLEASE!

Michael Wayne Osborn

Interesting how often Paton has said run the ball better. Shurmur rarely calls run plays 👀

    Mellow Devil

Every defense stacks the box and presses the WRs because they don’t respect Teddy.

Raymond Okpeaha

Von Miller 💔😢 Broncos for life

Domonic DiPaolo

Alexis- great interview, I really like George a lot. Love the point you made about our record being the best it’s been in the past 5 years. I’ll continue to do my part by supporting the team and certainly wish Von all the best!

Michael Lazzeri

I thought # 58 should have been traded last summer ———it was time to do it ——–getting a 2nd & 3rd was good, far better than a compensatory pick we’d have gotten when he moved on from us. ———–Getting a 6th for Vincent was also good. ——Well done, Paton.———–MJL, 75 y/o

    Tom Bosley

yup turned a 7th round pick into a 6th. Vincent would have never saw playing time anyway

Ningi

John Elway retired on the Broncos , Von should have had the ability to do the same. I understand the business aspect and how this could be potentially good for the Broncos. Business as usual..

michaelcushman

I’m very impressed with his deals. Seems to always add value. I like the direction: better athletes, speed, guys who love the game and character. He doesnt assume. He lets the hand he is delt play out, does his job well, and watches how things play out, and adjusts accordingly. Clearly he has good relationships throughout the league. He only makes good deals that make the team better, no reaching or hoping for a miracle.
