And how much it hurts to keep watching this team disappoint us. Like, I know playoffs are still possible, but every single year, this team has the roster to win a lot of games, but just end up losing. We have a franchise quarterback with Justin Herbert and I just hope it’s not gonna go to waste
As a life long Chargers fan I would be lying if I said I was surprised by yesterdays outcome Chargers will always Do Chargers things can’t believe I wasted my time to even watch that horrible game

Absolutely COVID IS NOT AN EXCUSE…The Texans had more players on the covid list and were playing their second string QB (albeit Tygod is their season starter.) This was bad coaching all around, which is why Staley is not sold on me.
@R C The only reason they need them is because the roster is so poorly put together after the starters the quality of the chargers 2nd stringers is equal to practice squad or worse guys.
been a fan my whole life .. classic chargers .. love the bolts it’s crazy how more things change the more they stay the same with this team… the defense was disgusting.. it’s been the weakness all season .. our offensive mistakes are magnified by the worst 3 down defense in the league. stafford threw 3 picks yesterday and they still won .. lamar threw 4 picks against the browns and they still won … fix the dang defense on the off seasons .. that’s the dang problem
Imagine having two Hall of Fame QB’s for 34 years and winning just two Super Bowls. Green Bay is much like the Chargers. They won’t step up and build a team through free agency. Not a big fan of the Sean Peyton offense. But offense is not this team’s problem. It’s a defense that can’t stop anyone.
A 10-7 or 9-8 season is not a failure for a rookie head coach and rookie oc. That’s a huge dub. All the other rookie head coaches are having 2-4 win seasons this year. We are blessed to have Staley, and Herbert
@chauncey williams agreed 100 percent , the defense has been the problem all year even when derwin and joey are on the field .. you have to fix the front 7 .. even if we were avg at stopping the run , we’d have 2 more wins right now
Our run defense was getting better. Couldn’t really get worse. :/ Vile, I think at this point we can be pretty sure our defensive line will get our first or second draft pick, and maybe a FA.
Just looking at the Covid-19 list, we’re worse off than Denver overall but Jones will play. Edit: stupid virus, dammit.

Been a fan since 92 this is the worst defense the Chargers have ever put on the field lack of effort tackling can’t stop the run can’t get off the field on 3rd down poorly coached offense has to score 30+ to win games it’s ridiculous.
Oh, NO . Dan Fouts had some REAL bad ones too ! But , they would get turn overs for him ? AND this OC wouldn’t be holding Dan back , I can tell you . Fouts would be in his face EVERY game !
You weren’t their during Air Coryell, this defense is right up there with them.
pretenders not contenders, is what this team is looking like. all the hype has been unwarranted. Staley’s defense has been their downfall. the hype of Staley turning this defense around has been just hype. I’m not giving up on the possibility of making the playoff, BUT!!!!! THEY HAVE NO EXCUSE FOR ALL THAT’S HAPPENED FOR LOSING TO TEAMS THEY SHOULD HAVE BEATEN.

Staley still has not proven anything, inconsistent in his coaching philosophy.. TT needs to go cause this depth is crap… We can play any other team’s (aka Houston) second and third stringers and still manage to lose while giving them team and individual records.

@Anthony last year we have Anthony Lynn as our head coach, this year we have Staley.. this team is still building up… besides the fact that we’re missing a lot of key players due to Covid… hopefully everyone is healthy next season⚡️⚡️bolt up

If they didn’t know how to run this team Herbert wouldn’t of broke all those records and we wouldn’t have had 21pt leads vs the best teams in football. The real problem was Gus Bradley. All Lynn and Steichen would had to done was fire gus Bradley and play more aggressive and this team would be 11-4 right now. They obviously knew how to put points on the board and dominate teams just saying

There was one play where 3-4 Chargers couldn’t tackle the Texan’s runner. It was so comical and sad, just like being a Chargers fan.
Yeah.. this chargers defense, excluding DJ, can’t tackle. Tackling has been an issue for years. Remember the 4th and 29 yds play vs Ravens?

The defense needs to get things stopped at the end of the game. The pass rush should be better. I’m upset about Kelcey and I’m upset about Houston.
Chargers had sole control of their playoff chances and now they’ll need help. This game was absolutely pathetic and disappointing. That defense was atrocious and the T.O.P. for the Chargers was like what? 2 minutes?
I’m so used to getting my heart ripped out by this team,for 30 years I’ve been going through this,I ran outta words to express my frustrations.
They’re going to lose the next two games. Especially if they play the backups again. Finna be the laughing stock of the NFL
