Let’s go cowboys nation

Jason Clements

Something I want yall to think about and or discuss. its 3rd and 10 against the 49ers. Jordan davis in the middle pushing center and guard, Randy G next to him beating a tackle. Gallomore or Osa twisting with Micah on the other side. You have Micah rushing up the middle next to davis, faster than a guard that hopefully is following the tackle. Then Micah can either go get the QB or Deebo rushing on 3 & 10 which we saw. Davis is a tool. And with the right coach (DQ) can be sharpened to a weapon.

    Lay Lowe

I totally agree. He might not get a lot of sacks, BUT he’ll definitely push 2 blockers all the way back to the QB!!! I want him really bad!!!

Christopher Michaels

I knew the first thing Jeff would say was Skyy Moore 😂

    John Santos

I’m on that train now…need someone too look forward to with no Coop

Don Leskovar

Jordan Davis will be gone by 24 his stock is sky high now

JAHII

The conversation about Linderbaum reminds me of the same type of talk about Mark Stepnoski. And I believe they both have wrestling backgrounds.

    Danny Savage

100 percent correct. Not sure why they think penning to tall for guard Kevin gogan was 6-7. Penning plays guard next 10 years in NFL

    Michael Driskill

He’s from Iowa. Of course he has a wrestling background

bigcartis17

Alec Pierce reminds me of Jordy Nelson

LAMAR

Tariq Woolen and Zyon Mcollum are legit and one of them will be a Cowboy hopefully. Will McClay loves those taller type of CBs. Alot more prospects in this draft I like alot for the boys

    thatguy

I like Zyon. I love his instincts and intelligence. His measureables are solid too. I would really like for Dallas to take him maybe around the 5th.

    LAMAR

@thatguy I couldnt agree with you more that would be a great pick tbh

LAMAR

Ole Miss EDGE Sam Williams is another one to watch for he ran a 4.43 40 and 10-foot-3 broad. 12.5 sacks in 13 games played in 2021

Guadalupe Chavarria

FS Lewis Cine 6-2 200 Georgia 4.37 at #24

    Danny Savage

He a sec rounder in my book but def is a beast

Jam Brown

The cowboys need to go get George Pickins

Mike Smith

I seem to recall Dontari Poe testing so well in the combine. I remember Maryland Olinemen blowing it up in the combine. The tape has to go with the workouts. I do think Davis can be a beast but it is curious how little snaps he would get per game at Alabama when Alabama is known as a school that will really put their players through the grind

    Gabriel Carrasco

Poe was a really good player for the first 5-6 years.

    Antbeast23

So other schools don’t produce players or put players in the grind? Bama has had some fair share of busts and players getting in trouble

    Radar Channel

UGA > Bama. All hail to Kang Kirby.

A O

Wouldnt mind Linderbaum at #24

Size limitations and all

Danny Savage

David Bell can play. Michael Irvin and Jerry Rice both ran 4-7 forty

Brandon Rains

Even on a definite passing down…Jordan Davis can definitely stay on the field. If you don’t double-team him… HE WILL get a pass rush up the middle, and at 6-6 he creates passing problems (especially if he gets those hands up)

thatguy

My preferred pick at TE would be Jeff’s boy Trey McBride.

The NFL Network’s ranking of this TE class is below. Otton and McBride are close. The difference being McBride is a heck of a blocker. He has a background in wrestling. Otton is cleaner in his routes, etc.

1. Cade Otton (6.33)
2. Trey McBride (6.31)
3. Jeremy Ruckert (6.24)
4. Isaiah Likely (6.20)
5. Greg Dulcich (6.19)

Isaiah Likely
“Tight end prospect with an intangibles profile and positional traits that make him projectable to the next level. . . He lacks a prototypical tight end frame and is an inconsistent blocker.”

Greg Dulcich
“Move tight end with some vertical talent who can’t be expected to add much as an in-line blocker. . .”

Charlie Kolar
“A tight end with elite measurements and statistical production, Kolar’s tape can be a little bit average when studying the entire body of work. Despite his outstanding size and length, Kolar is not very aggressive or effective as a point-of-attack blocker.”

Jalen Wydermyer
“Productive three-year starter who failed to show much run-blocking and pass-catching development after his freshman season in 2019. . . He’s athletic in the air and has jump-ball talent but needs to prove his 2021 drops were just an outlier if he’s to be trusted by NFL quarterbacks. If he doesn’t get run-blocking issues corrected, he’ll likely never rise above the level of a TE3 in the league.”

Jeremy Anello

Pickens is my WR1

Kyle Leinen

Go for Charlie Kolar at TE in 3rd-4th round. Good RS target, tall, gets open. A taller Dalton Schultz.

    Kyle Leinen

Also steal in the later rounds or undrafted is TE Chase Allen. Better known for his blocking but can catch.

Jeffrey Snyder

Now are they going to teach Schultz how to block?

Boopooh43

Safeties in 2nd round, NOT this team! Maybe I’ll see it this year. 🙄

Len Jackson

“I looked up the 10 fastest receivers in the history of the combine… Trash” “All of them are trash” 🤣🤣
