yeah we’ve blown too many early round picks the last couple yrs for me to take a risk on Chaison..I think he’s athletic and has potential but he couldn’t dominate at the college lv and I’m gonna take him at 17?? with where the Cowboys are on defense at 17 I want as close to a lock as I can get at this point..we need a guy at 17 who can come right in and start but with Chaison we’d just be hoping he developed into what his athletic ability says he could be..we just can’t afford to have another failed 1st rd pick on the def line..

Hmmmmmm…let’s see..if u understand basic math go look up his career sack #’s as a pass rusher and tell me how 9.5 sacks in 3 seasons stacks up..if u call that “domination” then I’m not sure we can have an actual reasonable, sensible conversation..if the Cowboys were to draft him it’d be as a 4-3 pass rushing DE..ok fine I’ve got nothing against drafting him..but 9.5 sacks in 3 seasons is a guy who in ur opinion absolutely dominated and u wanna take at pick 17????
@Boomer Sooner what ur doing is taking a guy only based on his athletic ability and what u hope he could maybe be 1 day in the NFL..sure teams do that from time to time but we’ve blown enough early picks last few yrs..so give me a guy who is the closest thing to a lock u can find that can help this team right now..not another risk on a guy who is supposed to be ur future as a pass rushing DE who has 9.5 sacks in 3 seasons in college..he did almost nothing his 1st 2 seasons and his last yr he gets 6.5 sacks..not bad..but far from dominating
