I’m not comparing the the two, but Stafford sure didn’t carry his team to victory last sunday man… that was brutal. Joe Flacco didn’t win but he did complete 63% of his passes for over 300 yards in the rain in a game he wasn’t favored to win to being with.

@Jack not sure what your point is? How many years ago was that? What relevance does that have to game day this Sunday. I don’t dislike Flacco, he’s got a great arm… but from a game plan perspective it doesn’t work if our O-line doesn’t hold up, such as last Sunday. You need someone that can shift out the pocket, White gives you that.

It’s a long season I understand the panic but damn y’all it’s weak 1, we don’t have our offensive line completely together and we don’t have our Starting QB, but I understand the offense looked atrocious, I’m just glad we actually scored a damn touch down (unlike the cowboys lol)
By week 6 if we are 0-6 then I’m with all of yallwhen it comes to letting the organization know how pissed we are. It’s only week 2.

Joe Flacco is the mouth piece to the qb controversy all the Mike White fans want. Plain and simple.
There is 0 scenario in which this old head collecting a check puts this team in a position to win
Flacco played well. He can’t catch/hold onto the ball for his wideouts/rbs and he can’t block for his o-line. Jets fans scapegoating him because they know he’s not the future and want to rationalize whatever lets them feel optimistic moving forward. Ive been a jet fan my whole life but I have to admit that most of us are just assholes.

@Gustavo Flores 63% completion, 300+ yards, PFF’s 12th rated QB for week 1. With the way his O-line, receivers, and rbs performed, that is playing well. Its totally unfair to put all the blame on him just because if he played perfectly, they might have won anyway. Everyone has a responsibility to his job, and he did it better than almost everyone else on the Jets offense.
The fact is he did all he could do. But when he needed to put up points he could not. We have different way of grading and that’s fair I guess. I think he is a 3rd string QB. White should get the ball this week. Flaco is not our future and a move to start him over White is ridiculous.
Plus he was the direct cause of a Ravens score with his interception
@Gustavo Flores half his drives ended with unforced errors by someone else- 3 drops (carter, moore, davis), 2 fumbles (hall, coklin), a missed fg, and his tight end (cager) fell down on the interception- that wasnt his fault at all. i dont believe your different way of grading is fair- youre holding him responsible for mistakes by the offense that he had no control over. he isnt the reason we didnt score. This was my whole point- just because he’s “not the future” doesnt make it right to blame him for everything. You just dont know what youre looking at and want to manufacture a reason for optimism. Its not right

the biggest problem I have with Joe Flacco is he brings no energy and he doesn’t mentor
