Steve Saunders. The same guy who caused a covid outbreak two years ago. The same guy who had the most injured team in the NFL by far. The same guy who ex players have voiced their opinion on wanting him fired. I’d be surprised if players come out of this voluntary camp injury free.
Plus when he was in San Francisco caused many of the 49ers great players on their 2011-13 teams to either leave or retire in their primes. Plus I feel like no one wants to sign here because of him.
I sincerely hope the S&C training isn’t as brutal as its been in the past, don’t ever want 2015 or 2021 to repeat itself ever again
Josh bynes got that scale back workout going, lol. Welp, it’s time to adapt, these guys are kinda up on their conditioning 365. Rookies definitely need scale back, with a season and all the draft prep, pro day, and workout, they coming in with a heavy load, no wonder so many be injured season one. Scale rookie work outs back.
Now pros running a 17 game season, and the pressure of keeping they spot, they definitely working out, so gotta watch them too.
Heck like a floyd Mayweather. You coming to camp in shape already, nothing to do but, walk through, heavy load of game plan, super repetitive walk through and reps on reps on reps.
Geeez I hope they scheme queen right this year….. make him a torpedo, front 7 rover, qb spy and rb flat cover guy.
Dont traditional role him as a lb and allow him to be freight trained by o linemen, and get him crossed up covering wrs.
Allow that athletic talent to have a troy palamalou type role and let him go. Gaaaawd when wink let him 0 hole run blitz, or delay blitz, or sneak him outside edge, he made the highlight tape.
Put that speed of his up on linemen so he can get the jump, and let the magic happen.
