Unless some edge is there unexpected/slide and they move up, I would target a wr. Skill position prices are skyrocketing and you can potentially get round 1 talent/production at a round 2 cost. Name of the game is scoring points, and I’d want to surround DW with as many playmakers as possible. Even if they bring in Fuller or Landry, I still want a wr. If something were to happen to Cooper, the wr room is in shambles. If they have Landry, its basically the same room that ended the season + Grant. That’s just not good enough. In a world were Christian Kirk gets around 20m per year, if you can add Watson, Pickens, etc to your room you do it. DPJ and/or Schwartz could make a jump, but depending on it is dangerous. DT is overrated. They invested in it over the past few drafts, and even when you look at all the first round DT in past 3 years, it doesn’t translate to wins. I think they can add a player via FA and go from there. But wr is a must and in round 3, I’d look at corner to develop since its likely Hill and Greedy wont be here after this year (its ideal to get someone familiar with your system early) and I’d also look at linebacker. Someone to pair with JOK for years to come. Walker is back on 1 year, and Philips cant stay healthy. Again its getting ahead of the curve. If Tindall or Andersen are sitting there, its very interesting to add speed to that position, along with versatility. Safety is an option but bringing back Harrison kinda kills that. Edge is deep but there are a lot of project guys with tools. 3rd/4th would be fine to take a guy. Nobody in round 2 is significantly better than round 4 at that position. They all have flaws, from size, to motor.
