That Deserves A Crown: Shamelle Jackson

Da Village Pop-Up Shop is a nonprofit organization that hosts pop-up shops providing new and gently used clothing, hygiene, and cosmetic items for homeless and low-income citizens in Charlotte. In the summer of 2020, we installed free food fridges around Charlotte to help further our mission to feed insecure members of our community. Anyone can give and anyone can take from the fridge without the fear of judgment or the stigma that comes with asking for help.
