This is tougher than Tyreek because he wanted to stay in KC. At the same time easier in that losing T.M. wasn’t altogether unexpected. I wanted both of them back and ultimately both had something to do with money. Still thankful for the Honey Badger and the Cheetah. Love their role as Chiefs and their contributions. Cherish your ring guys.

I really enjoyed watching him play. It’s weird that he’s gone to the Saints now, especially when it’s been reported that he would have taken the same deal as his replacement, Justin Reid. Times change, I guess, but it won’t be the same without the Honey Badger. Thanks for everything you did for the team over these years Tyrann. All the best to you for the future.
It definetly won’t be the same without the Honey Badger, but I really doubt he was expecting for other teams’ interest or his price tag to fall that far a few months ago. I’m excited for Justin Reid; the defense is getting younger; the Honey Badger is going home. I’m happy for Tyrann
This one hurts a lot more than I thought it would. I realize it’s a business and that it’s bad business to pay somebody for what they already did rather than what you expect they will do in the future. I understand that to maximize Patrick Mahomes career we will have to be like the Patriots were at their peak and sign and release guys of this caliber pretty much every year. But this one truly hurts.
Mathieu is a TOP shelf sportsman and an even better man in the community. I hope we remember that. This guy bled for this team and for Kansas City. He rightly got some criticism for taking a play off every now and then. He got criticism for going after people online attacking his team and his teammates. All of that is fair. I was in on it. But when the history of the Chiefs is written in eternity, Mathieu will be vindicated. As a player and as a man.
