This really feels like the official end to my childhood. My earliest memories were waking up Sunday with my brother excited to watch him play. Having my first jersey (which I still have) being Brady. Giving me the belief that you can be down but not out. It’s hard because he represents more than just a football player to me. No celebrity or personality, that I have never even met, has had such an impact on me. Thanks for everything Tom

You hit the nail on the head, my first time going to the Big House Tom Brady was Michigan’s QB. I remember me and my dad were telling anyone who would listen that Tom Brady would be a “good” NFL QB. Even us Michigan fans that knew he was much better than the NFL scouts were giving him credit for, never dreamed he’d become the undisputed GOAT.

This man came to Tampa and united the fandom. The old school fandom was rejuvenated, the new fandom grew. Tom Brady will forever be a Tampa Bay Buccaneer. He deserves a spot in the Buccaneers Ring of Honor for what he did for this team, and the city of Tampa Bay.

@polly v Superteam? I understand this team has a lot of talent but they did nothing with it until Brady showed up. As Arians said on the podium after winning the Super Bowl. “It only took one man.” Tom MFin’ Brady. Also, Golden State won a championship 2 years before Durant showed up. Whereas Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been a dumpster fire for almost 20 years.
@BB Dude, he’s been playing with 3 all-pro receivers, the best tight end ever and a solid running game.
He needs a superteam to be good. Those guys go down so does his game and that night against saints proved it. He’s overrated when he has average players around him.
@polly v I don’t understand how you define a super team. It sounds like you would consider LA Rams as super team and Stafford as average talent (I’d argue that he’s tremendous). Having numerous all-pro players clearly does not ascend the team to “super-dom.” Some of Brady’s Super Bowl winning Patriots were barely average at each position. I would only consider 2007 Pats as Brady’s super team. Anyways, I think the common denominator for winning is quite obvious, because Brady can only get lucky so many times with super teams. Also, I doubt that other qbs could have turned the “super 7-9” Bucs around in their first year. I fail to see that you are making a valid argument.
