@Ken Kunz You’re right, they’ve won only once in the orange since 2018 but a lot of them were one-possession losses that Chicago should’ve came up on the winning side. With that being said, I hope the Bears never change their look; home, away, alternate, throwback– all solid looks!

@rel side br Yawn. This wasn’t luck. This was good playcalling and usage of talents. More TE usage and diversification of short passes and runs. Notice that we gave no turnovers? Could it be because we weren’t overshooting 40+ yard passes every possession🤔. Why did Montgomery score a touchdown on the bears’ first possession 2 of the last 3 weeks, after having no room to run all season prior? Notice trubisky keeping the ball through his sacks? In every possible metric, our offense has improved.
It wasn’t even a remotely competitive game. The offense has only improved every week since trubisky’s return. Sound weird and almost casual, but this is supported with literal statistics. The defense went into hibernation, allowing points against us not felt since 2017, before the Mack trade! We all know this. We also know we didn’t slack- Not today. 2 instances of back-back sacks isn’t luck, especially when one of these instances results in a safety on one of the leagues most mobile quarterbacks.
What do we have left? Vikings coming off a loss, who’s primary weapon had already had his worst game of the season against the bears? Who gave up a kick return TD? The consistently subpar Jaguars who just benched their starting QB? The packers who won’t be using their best players on week 17? Winning out the season is entirely possible, and it is braindead to assume tanking would be the only feasible option. Keep calling people who can like their local team “casuals,” even the ones who know what they are talking about. If you watch sports just to support the good teams, you have ruined sports and the purpose of franchising. See you cheering next year when the bears at 11-5.

He’s not underrated . Yes he has a lot of skill but he has no IQ at all. Many plays he jumps and dives on the ground for no reason when all he had to do was beat one defender and possibly score a Touchdown

@Sludge Any given Sunday. Bears have lost to worse defenses, AND this was a blowout. Mitch outplayed the best QB in the league (Mahomes) yesterday. He’s not an ideal QB, but he is absolutely not THE problem. We could compete with the best if the O-line and defense showed up like they did yesterday.

Shaheen could just never stay healthy, thankfully we got a 6th round pick out of him at least. I don’t think he’s even doing much in Miami. Agreed Kevin white was just bad luck.
