So Taylor is Scott Turners boy, the gunslinger play caller makes since now with this QB and I’m cool with it.
It’s a Hollywood story if they win a Super Bowl together. It sounds like Turner is the only NFL guy that gave Heinicke a serious look coming out of college.
If that’s true then Scott Turner sabotaged Wentz purposely. Cause I never understood why Wentz was throwing 50x a game. He never did that anywhere else, not every game.
@Elyon El Well, one reason Wentz threw so much is because Washington was down by over 20 points at halftime to both the Eagles and Lions, because Wentz played terribly in the first half in both of those games.

ODU grad here. So proud of Taylor! He was always like this when in college. Nothing has changed. He will give you everything he has and is not afraid to put the team on his back when it is needed.
And that’s why we love him. A gritty guy with something to prove and that makes him dangerous!
Taylor is my qb always will be but man I’m glad to see London fletcher he was the first players jersey I bought and it was the original burgundy and actual gold throwback I love it so much

My favorite Washington QB since Joe Theismann. I love watching him play. He’s just a great competitor, as he has proven in numerous close games.
Even when Heinicke makes mistakes, I know he’ll learn from them and get better. Like all the great QBs do.
What about Alex Smith?
@O’shea Williams I was a big Alex Smith fan as well. Very underrated QB. I wish he had joined Washington when he was a younger QB. Smith was past his prime when he played for Washington, but he was still a great QB. His winning percentage shows that.

I Graduated from ODU in 72 so old enough to add Sonny Jurgensen to that list of my favorite Washington QBs. Watching Taylor all these years helps to keep me young!
He should be allowed to change the play at the line of scrimmage if needed. The fact that Turner does not allow for that explains a lot. Especially for plays in the red zone.
