Since we drafted him 3 round what does this pick mean for him I’m the future? I mean do you see us changing our defense to a base 4-3 instead of nickel? Or do you possibly think this is a security blanket in Tremaine Edmunds leaves us that this guy will be our starting linebacker?

Guy physically reminds me of Jordan Poyer. He’s just too small to play NFL LB, The Bills can’t re-invent the wheel- It’s already proven small LB’s normally don’t pan out. However, IF they try him at Safety, I wouldn’t hate it as much if he’s backup S

Dude it’s not 2003 anymore. Linebackers are changing. Matt Milano and Bernard are the perfect examples. They are smaller guys that can cover and run sideline to sideline as fast as running backs and tight ends. The days of big thumper linebackers are over…. Not to mention, Bernard is way bigger than Poyer

One of the worst picks in Bills history, this guy is a undersized LB who at best will play special teams and should have been a 6th to 7th round pick. Bernard is terrible at the point of attack and can’t stop the run even in the weak and historically undersized Big 12. All you fair weather fans can be pleased with yourself, but to all the actually Bills fans who got laughed at for liking them for years we shat the bed on this one. When the team gets blown up due to cap reasons next year, we are going to be screwed.

Terrel is an excellent player but he won’t be starting any time soon. That’s no swipe at him, the Bills are just so deep it’s a luxury to have a player with his athletic ability who will most likely be focused on special teams. He could evolve into a Thomas Davis type of LB though.
