Titan’s are one of those team’s that’s always slept on but upsets teams like this, prime example was vs the rams last year
Keep in mind that Patrick Mahomes is the type of person to respond big whenever people keep saying that he’s done. The Titans would probably hold a halftime lead, with Patrick Mahomes becoming unstoppable in his superhuman form. The Titans are horrible in the second half of games, while the Chiefs excel in the second half, especially when they’re down.

Titans can win this game, but they’ll have to fight for every yard, every first down, every 3rd down stop, etc. The Titans WILL WIN THIS GAME IF 1) use the clock, keep Mahomes off the field while simultaneously not letting the Chiefs defense score for their offense & 2) if the titans secondary can hold their assignments for at least 5-7 seconds. Titans pass rush is a quiet one but they still make noise & we know Mahomes can scramble out, but if Mahomes can’t find anyone for at least 5 seconds after dropping back, the pressure will get there. so they need to waste clock, keep the chiefs explosive offense off the field for as long as possible and hold their assignments on defense, talking about their secondary. Easy to overlook them because they have a tier 3 or 4 QB.

Right now this is a game of two average to slightly above average teams trying to find something that works. The Titans are on a 5 game win streak, but the quality of opponents in that stretch has been suspect to say the least. That said, 5 straight is 5 straight in the NFL. The Chiefs also did lose to the Colts, a team the Titans have beaten twice since. The Chiefs do have the ability to put up a lot of points, it just doesn’t always play out that way. Should be a really good game no matter which way it goes. When I look at the slate of games on this weekend, Volunteers/Bulldogs on Saturday and Titans/Chiefs are the only ones that really pique my interest. Funny that both are featuring teams from Tennessee.
Could be an upset, could be a blowout, could be a late game winning drive. When these two play you never really know….

Titans pass rush is nasty and that whole D been playing solid now that they have most of their starters back and Henry is cooking again so it’ll be interesting how this game plays out. it’s either gonna be a blowout like last year or Kelce is gonna burn them with uncalled illegal shifts all game with uncalled multiple holds by the O-line.
