If this was the Panthers best aganist a division team than just bench everyone an play 2nd stringers rest of season. I rather see PJ walker throw darts than to see Teddy hand other teams easy wins. Defense gives up what 20 plus points a game. even with all the rave involving new players this team is 3 and 5. Kinda hard to win any game when you turnover the ball at high rates in key moments

According to Aikman, Teddy needs to make the right protection calls, and stop staring down receivers pre snap. DJ was open all game, and didnt bother to look his way.

And think about it, all the good qbs release the ball early and hardly ever get sacked, Rodgers, Brady. They either throw the ball away or find their check downs, or if ur Rodgers u make the play lol

@Im2GuD 89 I think Teddy was worth a shot, but hes not it, right now Rhule is probably beating his head against the wall wondering why he traded away Kyle Allen. If Allen has another game like he did last week, then without question Allen is better than Cam and Teddy hands down. I never understood why trading him made any sense. I always thought keeping him around in case Teddy didnt pan out would have been the smart thing. We tied ourselves to a boat anchor. Teddy is 5 years older than Allen and is on pace for 18 touchdowns in 16 games, thats unacceptable with the weapons we have. And the line truly is not that bad. When you stare down receivers, it makes it easier for receivers to be bracketed.

Did you watch the game or did you watch the game. Its one thing watching as a fan an another watching as a player. Cant blame o line unless they didnt block at all. Even with time teddy Bridgewater stunk up the place. Majority of the time qbs will be under pressure. Its no cake walk playing qb. Great qbs make it seem easy but if you look at the tape over an over clearly the man isnt a elite qb. He can throw a ball alright , run alittle but where are you throwing and why are you missing open men in your reads . Let me guess. Next game teddy will fumble the ball in 4th quarter while we are down 6 with less than 2 minutes left. Thats been his M.O. that pass 2 weeks. Its a team effort so lets see whose called upon to screw up in the next loses

How can he be a solid back up if hes not a good starter?? Hes a solid reliever in baseball pitching but theres no such thing as a solid back qb. Teddy DJ and Robby make great plays together. Every down isnt suppose to be easy . I dont expect teddy to have 7 seconds in the pocket 90% or 75% of the time. I don’t expect him to throw the ball number 33 either on a comeback drive then blame it on 33 droppong off a wide open 10. 10 was standing there like hitch hiker before teddy threw the ball into triple coverage. Ive seen elite play from teddy and very questionable play. Hes a solid starter when the game calls for him to be it seems. He must not like playing behind so much going into late 4th quarter situations because obviously defense ends up with a turnover in those situations last 2 games

A solid back up??? Didnt he win in New Orleans. So is it Teddy or the coaches fault we lose and fall behind every game. If hes a solid back up than he should have no problem starting in the nfl. Hes solid right? Alright. Solid means starter. If he was a dumpster back up that would mean never starting.

Solid picthers close out games. Solid back up qbs get starting jobs and perform up to par. A solid back qb gets 20 million a year to start. Which is what happened in this case. You perform well you get opportunities to start. How is he just a back up in this league. Cant be solid qb if you arent playing solid right. You don’t expect much out of back up qbs??? Then why are they called solid if you dont expect them to play well. No ones a back up qb. Teams just need 3 qbs incase the first one goes down. They are basically all starters just waiting for a chance to play starter. I dont understand what him playing a back role has to do with him starting. So he plays better when brees gets injured?? So if we sit teddy, play pj, pj gets benched then back up solid man teddy comes in, ooooo now hes good????

@Manny Reyes hes good at throwing, moving around the pocket and getting the ball to his guys. I cant say he sucks because for whatever reason he decides its okay to throw it to 33 wilson and end the game or its okay to ignore easier targets in favor of risky down feild throws when its uncall for. He needs to audible the o line better i see that. O line should know hey we should audible an tell teddy but not the case. I like his play. When something is there he goes for it. Maybe a difficult catch for reciever but it was one hella read by teddy. Just some of Teddys reads say to me….this is how they wanted the game to go so o well. Heres the ball Atlanta. Lets go home.
