Ibn Raoof I cant agree with the teddy remark. Being captain check down and not having the gene to carry when it has to be done is a much needed skill set for a dynasty to be built. Which is what every organization worth their salt should arrive for. I do think CMC being out is a blessing in disguise however, open the play book more. We need CMC but the first 2 games teams just loaded the box and forced teddy to carry it. Which he didn’t. Wasn’t all his fault I get it. Defense was non existent in many regards but to have that franchise guy under center, playing the hardest position in sports is a need.

I will agree on the defensive points. A lot of holes that need to be mended. Need a true leader at Line backer and a secondary that will punish lack passes and force right windows to be executed.

Ronald Hall Rodgers, brees, Wilson, Brady, cam was a main reason success was obtained in many scenarios, Patrick mahomes, Lamar Jackson. Note all but cam and Lamar have won a bowl on this list. But can and Lamar were driving factors. There are very few instances of mediocre QBs like Teddy winning a bowl. Take away each of those QBs from those teams and insert Teddy they do not win a bowl or get to one for that matter or get close. Teddy is and always will be a mediocre system guy.

@John beason we’ll see. I don’t agree, I know what Teddy is capable of. He wins everywhere he goes. As long as the NFL world knows that, you and your thoughts are irrelevant

Ronald Hall Alex smith would also win quite a bit. Even had an MVP bit for a time but he is not thought of as someone who will win the big game. Teddy has proven nothing of note. He’s proven he can check down, has a mediocre arm, and has never went a full season and made it into a play off run that carried weight. I’m basing my view on what he factually has not done . You can say irrelevant all you want. The fact of the matter is teddy has not done anything relevant. That is a fact. Injuries, one play off appearance which was awful, and a man that doesn’t have anything in his skill set that is elite. Keep your hopes all you want. He is not a game changer.

No one in the NFL world fears teddy or holds him on a pedestal where he is elite. No one. He’s a winner? 1-2 right now.
