The hell he isnt! Dude has never thrown more than 17 touchdowns in a season, and probably wont even throw 20, and has the 3 top 20 receivers in the league. Kyle Allen at this point last year had more Touchdowns than Teddy. Dude is Grade A Trash. Nice guy, but cant get the job done. If the pass isnt 10 yards or shorter he isn’t going to throw it, cuz it will probably be picked off. We paid 22 million dollars for a dude worst than Kyle Allen, and gave him more weapons. You cant possibly put Bridgewater in any better situation than the one he is in currently. He just isnt NFL starting material. Its obvious he has been figured out.
@ezekwu Anderson, Moore and Samuel are all the damn help he needs! All most every damn qb in the league would beg for the weapons Bridgewater has.

1) Davis was open underneath and could have thrown the checkdown instead took the sack.
2) Second sack he held on to the ball too long and Samuel was wide open across the seem.
He has 3 top 20 targets in the NFl to throw to and is the worst qb in the nfl in Redzone offense. You cant possibly put him in a better position than he already is in. Dude is trash. Id take Kyle Allen anyday over him.

@Tara Chee Dude thats not even true! If Teddy would have dumped off to Mike Davis instead of taking his first sack, he would have had space to run for a first. Teddy’s second sack freaking Samuel was wide open up the seem, and Teddy held on to the ball and didnt even look his way. Hell he didnt even bother to target Samuel till the game was damn near over. The Line is not the problem, we didnt allow a sack for two straight games till this week. Teddy not seeing wide open receivers or refusing to make a big throw is a problem. Teddy has 3 top 20 receivers and he is the worst redzone qb in the NFL, if you give him Kyle Pitts he is still going to be trash, what dont you understand about it? Dude has never even reached 20 passing touchdowns in a season yet and the dude is damn near 29. Kyle Allen had more Touchdowns than Teddy at this point last year and was throwing to FN Zylstra and Moore as his top targets. Teddy has to go!
@Tara Chee Teddy for the last 7 years has been the worst redzone qb in the entire nfl as a starter. Dude hasnt thrown more than 20 touchdowns in a season. And he sure as hell wont make it this year, and has 3 top 20 targets, dude is trash. A bad defense? Our defense was FN Gassed! Teddy was so damn bad, than our offense only had 8 snaps the entire FN 3rd quarter. Teddy has 3 top 20 targets and is grade A trash. I would take Kyle Allen back in a heartbeat over Teddy. At least he knew what the damn endzone was.
@Tara Chee The fact is Rhule assembled the offense thinking it would be an immediate firestarter, and it wasnt! We are starting 6 rookies on defense and have the 15th scoring defense in the league, while we have 3 top 20 receivers and our scoring offense is 25th in the league. Teddy is the problem. You cant possibly put him in a better situation than the one he is in currently. Rhule knows it and so does Joe Brady. The offense was built to win now, and is probably the weakest link of the team.

@dustin barlow Dude, this is nominally his third season as a starter due to his catastrophic knee injury. His first two seasons in Minny also ran through Adrian Peterson, not because Teddy couldn’t cut it, but because it was how the offense was designed, and remained a run-heavy offense through his time there. So your sample size is incredibly small, involved a lot of handoffs to RBs in the red zone, and depending on how you define ‘redzone QB’, could greatly skew how you grade a QB. Also throwing touchdowns in the red zone looks great on the stat sheet, but isn’t the best predictor of who’s actually a good QB. Putting points on the board is what’s important, and Teddy typically puts his teams in the position to put points on the board and to win games. I absolutely believe coaching has a bit of a mess lately, and most players aren’t playing with any urgency right now. Carolina for whatever reason currently gets out only 61.6 plays her game, which ranks 28th in the NFL and ahead of only the NY Giants, Baltimore Ravens, Houston Texans, and the NY Jets. Meanwhile they 9th in yards per play, and 17th in points per play. So whatever Brady and Teddy are doing, it’s not due to a lack of efficiency in getting down the field, and just somehow not converting when it counts, whether it’s due to players, Teddy included, not executing, and miscommunication between the coaches and the players on the field. They’ll work it all out next season, hopefully when COVID-19 is over. By playing through this season, Carolina instead now gets itself some familiarity amongst key players who will be part of the team in the near future, and a high draft pick. Wasting it on a non-sure thing QB, and neglecting other positions does not win championships. Kansas City was already building a good team from the inside out and resisted drafting a QB to replace Alex Smith until Mahomes came along.
Also about the o-line not giving up a sack the last two games, the Lions played absolutely miserable and have the 26th ranked pass rush win rate, while the Vikings have the 28th ranked PRWR. Their sack percentages are 27th and 25th respectively. Also Russell Okung was finally back in the game versus the Vikings, but limped off with a calf injury again against the Broncos. Having some consistency in your line matters, and it shows up in the Panthers ranking 27th in time in the pocket before it collapses. The only reason he isn’t pressured, hit or sacked more is because Teddy gets rid of the ball quick, ranking 11th in time to throw (though really he’s 9th because two San Fran and two Miami QBs are on the list with less TTT). Carolina QBs also had to scramble the 6th most (29 times!) in the league on plays that were designed as passes. The Colts, Steelers, and Bucs (all with aging QBs) scrambled 2, 3, and 4 times respectively. This shows up every game, and Teddy, to his credit, is an effective scrambler. This never used to be part of his game, and was previously known as someone who kept his eyes down the field and moved around agilely in the pocket, but had to make scrambling part of his game this season to survive. The QBs ahead of him on the list are Deshaun Watson, Russell Wilson, Lamar Jackson, Kyler Murray, and Patrick Mahomes, so yeah…
Teddy tried, but DEN just jumped on them early. He doesn’t get the credit he deserves sometimes and a lot of fans forget what he did last season for NO.

After watching all the panthers games I’ve determined that we got rid of someone who can elevate the team potentially for someone who is the epitome of mediocre and will never win playoff games unless his team carries him
