Ok guys. How often can you pair 2 college teammates that produced at the highest level and won . + chase is a an elite player so is Sewell, burrow and chase have a great connection and that is very important. They can find a LT via trade or F.A. or draft next year. They would never be able to find an elite wide receiver in their 20’s that already has a strong connection with burrow. Chase won’t be able to block pass rushers but he will be able to help burrow get the ball out quicker and open the other side of the of the field for Higgins and mixon. They will be fine . Coming from a ravens fan lol

@Mikey to goated Well JOK did have the heart issue that came out before the draft, I guess. The other thing about JOK, is it depends on what kind of defense you’re playing. He’s not playing inside linebacker, and I doubt you’re going to slap him at Edge. They just paid Baker all that money, and they already have Isaiah Simmons. JOK really a bad fit for Arizona, I think. Collins, I believe, will be a great inside linebacker playing next to a Mike linebacker. I think he can handle reps at OLB in a 3-4 as well, but not as a 3 down player. He’s actually a lot like Baron Browning, only better. Two very similar players, but you’d much rather have Collins. Harris probably would’ve given Arizona what they were supposed to get out of Drake, but I think Collins was a good pick.

That said though, I still don’t think VJ is a good DC. He’s got all the talent in the world now, so we’ll see what he does with it.

@d patra Me too. While I think they have got some good players, it’s reaching the point they need to think about a total rebuild. New head coach, new GM and new QB. Mike Mayock should go back to TV work, although his opinion means very little now.

Duh. In terms of safer picks I think Fields was a safer pick over Trey due to experience. That was the only time the draft upset me. (No one go Trey Lance has so much potential. He’s the best QB in the draft. No matter how much the echo chamber repeats that it doesn’t justify taking someone at three with three first rounds given up for someone who played their sophomore year only. That’s a horrible gamble.)

Justin Fields was meant to be a Chicago Bear give Soldier Field and the home of Marshall Fields which is now Macy’s.
