Left tackle was mam handled alot, pocket is too narrow, keep them wider and deeper, so QB has more time, distance around him to work, not get hit as much and hurt

@Whodat 4life I watched the same game as you man. First half was rough, but adjustments were made and Hill in the 2nd half was pretty good. His passing is improving weekly and you can’t blame this one all on him. Our defense didn’t show up and our kicker missed 2 FGs, it happens. We lost as a team today.

@Whodat 4life I’m with you man, I want him to figure out his fumbling problem asap as well. If Hill doesn’t fumble he can be a great QB. Maybe he needed this loss to put things in perspective. Hope the Saints come out swinging next week against the Chiefs

He Will he has all the tangibles to be a legit starter in the league.. He only has started a few Games in Pro Football. He was Groomed for this. Young sat behind Montana, i think he will evolve into a good passer he made some tight window throws today

We always have one of these bad losses to get back in the mentality. They lose a game they shouldn’t have and get hot after. I just hope they can finish strong this year

Yea well barring a mircale we lose out on home field. We would have to win out and the Packers remaning schedule does not favor the saints. Titans only team that has a chance of beating the packers. Lambeau in January would be a huge hurdle to climb in inclment weather if we make it that for. Just hope we dont choke like in seasons pass

Yeah and we caught up and ended with 21 to 24 we did good in my opinion.

Really, against a rookie QB on a 3-8-1 team? I don’t think so.
We lost because there were no good gameplan for Hurts, no defensive adjustments, no QB pressure, no stopping the run.
On offense, all blame goes to Payton’s arrogance and BS playcalling along with the inexcusable performances from Taysom.
He doesn’t read defenses, he holds on to the ball too long, he doesn’t survey the field enough especially when there are 2 to 3 recievers that are wide open, and he has no sense of ball security.
We should have won this game easily with either our offense or defense…..no excuses.
As for wake up calls, that already happened with our last 2 losses.
That said, there’s no way in hell that we needed this loss considering the fact how loaded the NFC PO’s will be with no HFA for the 2nd seed.
Now we’re facing a good possibility of 2 game losing streak with the Chiefs coming to town.
Maybe we should get our sh.. together and give them a wakeup call, ‘eh?

@Eletric Larry Too go along with what you said about Sean Payton’s playcalling. I could not figure out why, early on, so many screens and run plays on second down. You would think that after it not working for the 7th time in a row that they would abandon their offensive game plan and just get the ball to our play makers, which is what started happening when it was too late in the game. Payton has done that in a few losses I can remember, especially this one and the Vikings playoff game last year.
Still in all, I agree that the loss when we were 1-2 was the wake up call and this being a conference game with us only 1 up on the Packers and them owning the head to head plus knowing K.C. is next, this game shoulda been an easy win and a must win. A win vs Philly and then a loss at K.C. wouldn’t be as bad as it would be a non conf game loss. The saints drank the Kool-Aid. Horrible loss no doubt. Can’t stick to the game script if the opposing team is on to it. Hope he doesn’t do that again in the playoffs.
