@elijah I watched that game and I would place more blame on NO’s defense than on Hill.

Aside from the turnovers, 1 int and fumble, and sacks Hill played solid and was the best passer in that game. Threw for almost 300 with 2 TDs, 74% completions.

Don’t know if Winston would’ve played better but considering his decision making and his Turnover Bakery, I doubt it. Hill’s passer rating was around 102, he played well even with his first half performance, the defense didn’t have a great first half performance either.

@CazNJaz the defense played bad, but they been playing amazing for so long, thats why i give them a pass because they cant hold it forever. lutz missed 2 fieldgoals but he rarely misses so its hard for me to put that on him. first half hill did nothing, second half he did okay but not good, fumbled in the most crucial time on 4th down. he took so many sacks, some of it wasnt even on the o line, he just sat on the ball and played dumb. hill is ultimately to blame because he is screwing us over in the long run. if he cant move the ball vs the eagles, he is going to get steamrolled by the chiefs im telling you

@elijah Hill has 1 loss in a game where his stat line was solid, he isn’t the main reason NO lost against PHI.

Defense played bad, they don’t get a pass. They’ve played well for a long time but we’re not judging them based off of their previous games, just this game and this game they gave up too much on the ground.

Even with the defense playing like that if Lutz doesn’t miss both of those kicks, NO wins. He only misses 1, it’s a tie. Kickers are meant to deliver and he has been missing FG and PATs the past few games.

Hill’s turnovers are an issue, mainly due to ball security. He missed some open guys and he overthrew others but despite that he was 74% completions, he was efficient but he isn’t Brees, he will make mistakes.

OL is partly responsible for those 6 sacks but I won’t hold it against them too much. PHI’s DL was solid throughout the game.

Hill wasn’t the main issue but some of his actions lead the team to a loss. It was a joint loss from the whole team but I would place the majority of the blame on the defense, who allowed 2 players to get over 100 rush yards on them. That’s unacceptable.

@Busy Bee yall trying to blame the o line but Philly has one of the best d lines in the league. Had 39 sacks coming into week 14. I know that. Hill should have known that too. But he wants to hold the ball and thats what happens. Saints d got after hurts… but he knew what to do

@johndoe He’s a rookie in terms of being a QB. Yes he was holding the ball too long but the o-line wasn’t helping either, idk if it’s Sean or taysom but he’s trying really hard to be a pocket passer. Sean has to let taysom know if his first two reads aren’t open then run or throw it away. It was a bad game from the whole team.

@Tyler Hatch yes i cant stand the people that hate on him….. i am so happy for him to get a chance, and imo he showed, that he has the potential to play for the saints for a whole season. the saints dont need a top 5 qb, the team is so good all around, that taysom is more than enough, to lead them to victories, and he is basically a rookie
