It’s always great to use your QBs at different positions like HB. Hill is a very special player. It nice to make players have great versatility.

Man when I saw Taysom bring in those gains he had a few years ago…I knew he was in this for the long haul XD
@natedawg 100 I say Taysom beats all of them. Good awareness, good chase-down/pursuit and tackler on defense, has caught passes before in the endzone and is a pretty decent lead blocker, has a rocket arm, and has the strength to be viable on the defensive/offensive line, and probably even knows HB plays like the back of his hand. I don’t see any single-person team beating someone like that. Taysom is such an athletic freak, he could probably play both sides of the ball for a full game.

I’m always amazed at how bad teams defend against him, like he’s on the field you he’s gonna get the ball but no, still makes a big play ahah
I see a lot of people would like to see him qb1 but he’s at his best in games like those, you never know what’s gonna happen

I don’t know if there’s ever been another player in football history who scored 3 rushing TDs on 112 yards rushing, threw for a touchdown, had 69 kick return yards, and recovered a fumble on special teams, all in the same game.
Taysom Hill is EASILY the most versatile player in the past 60-70 years of the NFL. You’d have to go back to the 50s or 60s to find anybody even play well at more than 1 position, probably farther than that to find someone play QB/RB/TE/KR/ST like Hill, and at a very high level for some of those.
As a BYU fan, I’m really happy that he has been able to carve out an NFL career. He had some really bad luck in college and had four season ending injuries. When he was playing he was unstoppable. He ran for 259 yards against Texas once. It almost felt like video game cheat mode when it was third and long, you knew he was going to run it for a first down.. or a touchdown.
