Awesome game. The refs let the boys play, but there definitely should have been a flag on the McLaurin hit. That kind of hit loses players for games if not seasons.
@Daniel Shaffer He’s strong but should still be checked out for a concussion just in case. Helmets have come a long way from the old days.

I don’t have a problem with it as long as they don’t call the same hit differently when Washington does it!
Heinicke is limited because of his arm strength, but the guy can really play. For the first time this season, the entire team showed up. If the defense plays well, Heinicke gives you a chance to win on any given Sunday. And sometimes even when they don’t show up.

I agree ! Arm strength is his only kryptonite but it’s not horrible he makes it work. I wanted to also say that he’s also been not only operating I his own personal pressure but also for him not to be a starter I’m sure it hits a bit different when you lose a Curtis Samuel , a Logan Thomas , cam sims (they connect) chase roullier , ect ect so I commend him on playing through those things too 💪🏽
His game isn’t balanced. I think they’re holding him back, which is bad advice. When he has grass he doesn’t always take off. Pretty sure he would have if left to his own devices.

Really still in the air in my opinion this game helped Heineke for sure. Gotta See how he finishes the season honestly
Heinicke has so much heart, you can see it in every game. Execution isn’t always on point, but if he and the offense execute like they’re playing Tom Brady every week, they’ll definitely be better in the back half of the season.
Even in the blow out losses, the protection of him has been a significant plus IMHO. Especially considering it wasn’t seen as a pure strength coming into the season. He will be the first to admit he has created sacks for himself and this game was no exception, but he has had a clean pocket to work with on a significant amount of plays this season and I think that is worthy of praise for this O-line.
Those passes had decent coverage too. Keep it up
The football team formerly known as the Redskins, have had their problems in recent years. But there is no question that they have played the Tom Brady Buccaneers better than anyone in the league. Pat Mahomes, Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers or Taylor Heinicke- who do you think played the best game against the Bucs in last year’s playoffs? It was Heinicke and his TFTFKATR by a lot.
Until we find a franchise guy, we’ve found the right guy to be our bridge. Heinecke is just what we need right now and for the foreseeable future

@David H we aren’t winning a SB with Taylor Heinecke. Sorry but that’s just the facts. We’ll win games, he’s not a scrub. But he’s average. He’s a tough kid, but he’s not our guy for the future. That being said he’s the right guy for right now
Carter is quietly our best FA pickup. Maybe he can share it with Leno, but he’s been impressive.

I think he’s gotta concentrate on making quicker reads. Pull up some Russell Wilson 🎥 cause it might give him an idea of how shorter QB’s find open receivers. Plus help him find lanes to better see! I think he doing OK, if he can show consistency he should be OK!

He’s got every intangible you need from a starting QB. Toughness, leadership, the work ethic and it’s easy to see the team really rallies around this guy. Sure, I would love for him to a bit stronger of an arm….but the rest, to me, is more important.
