What needs work? In-game coaching decisions, for one. I hear a number of “analysts” saying they like the aggressiveness of 4th down plays and fake punts and so on. Yeah, ok. But if the team in incapable of executing these plays and you’re basically 0 for the season, then stop doing it so often because you’re needlessly putting a bad defense in terrible field position or you’re giving up points. The next big area is the obvious: defense. I thought the team couldn’t do worse than Marinelli. I was wrong. Nolan is the defensive equivalent of Linehan. Unoriginal. Vanilla. A dinosaur. Until Jerry stops living in the 1990s, he will never hire a coaching staff to be successful in today’s NFL. Third area: Offensive play calling. Still predictable AF. They piled up yards against a bad Atlanta defense but coughing up the ball like a bad hangover and running on first down time and time again out of the same formation will not work against teams with any semblance of a decent defense. Special teams coverage is improved, thankfully. A reality check will take place this weekend. After that, the team doesn’t play a decent opponent until November, unless Arizona proves its hot start is no fluke.

    @Justin Boon Run a “spy” on Russ…..And hit Russ hard…As I stated we have to switch it up and Nolan knows the only way to improve any player is to put them up to the challenge …..As I stated…cant be vanilla ,element of surprise….time to open up the defense AND offensive……Never going to survive unless they get a little crazy!…true statement. I believe they be a good defense once they let loose play…..Its like they are thinking too much instead of reacting……Actually, the entire team looks flat…Not flying around the ball. I look at the Ravens play the other night and they playing at warp speed……

    Talent my brother you got to have talent..watch the game.jaylon is good but he is slow he doesn’t move direction well at all..d law is being paid to be a top 5 d end and he is not that.there are a lot of over hyped players on that d..only way to best Russ is play zone and your front four have to dominate.we don’t have the corners to cover Seattle’s receivers.your 100 % right though I think they need to let it hang.some more blitzes maybe some stunts with the d line.
    I hope it’s growing pains in a new defense.i just don’t think that’s the case.i just don’t know if the talents as good as advertised

Where is Lawrence at? All that coin is holding him back…if you get paid like that, you should at least have a sack already in two games…3 solo tackles 6 total…no sacks, no pass-blocks…nothing…he’s not a top talent that disrupts that much to pay him what they paid him….dud so far this year
