Get any dc , that can scheme queen like Dallas does Parsons, create a very athletic defensive front 4 that resembles, the giants 2 time sb winners, and the current setup the 49ers are using to make sb and deep playoff runs, (basically 4 beefed up defensive ends).

@king shark right he make those plays because he comes in free Parsons go one on one with left tackles and actually use pass-rushing moves Patrick Queen does not have that type of ability Troy Polamalu was successful because of players like Casey Hampton who was able to eat blockers and free up other players similar to what haloti Ngata did for Ray Lewis and Bart Scott
@D M … queen runs a 4.5 , it wouldn’t take much for him to come off a wide upright stance a speed rush on a tackle. That would open up the edge man. That will have to choose and itll be a costly choice either way. Step out wide and deal with speed or that de coming inside. N we all see queen A gap blow up the play blitz.
@king shark you do know that speed is not what makes you a good pass-rusher great left tackles are able to offset a speed rusher it takes technique and skill to rush the passer not just speed Patrick Queen is not a pass-rusher
@D M … you seeing pass rush like a de or something, I’m talking blitz. Blitz is speed, we’ve sent dbs in that same set up. Now you can send a lb that is actually a big strong safety.
But ok, I’ve explained the concept already. You seeing something totally different. Queen is dynamic enough to be a every down blitzing hybrid in every weak point of the opposing team weak point and dbs can cover.

Playing quality defense in todays NFL is almost impossible. You have to create miss matches every game and new schemes. You have to be super smart.

WELP, There are great coaches out there that are more than capable of helping out our Defense. There is a championship defense coordinator supposedly making a comeback. GO GET HIM!
This defense is about get more younger and hungrier.

2000 Ravens, 1985 Bears. Best defenses ever. I just named the Ravens as the best wild card team ever for that reason. Allowed under 6 points per game in the playoff run. Can you imagine that today?
