@Bruce Willis to be fair tho. I can recall 3 diff times last year. Cmc didn’t get 4th and foot. 3 different games. 2 for the loss. But I agree still run with your best player. If they didn’t show the fb run earlier in the game. I think they would’ve gotten it though.

I agree. Tackling was an issue. The defense didn’t step up today. Panthers have always been known for having a solid LB core. Learn from this game and play PANTHER football next week. It was a team loss really. Kicker missed an extra point. The FB at the end didn’t stretch for that first down that was literally inches away. Moore’s penalty that was stupid on his part. The missed catches from Moore and Samuel.
@AtomicBeats Yeah, not all passes are going to be laser perfect. The wide out has to adjust on the fly. Rule of thumb is ‘if it hits your hands you must catch it, no excuses’

Team sport, tre bostons flag, dj moore his stupid Penalty, missing tackles. Wasn’t just him. Tre boston seems to be the only person that can tackle 1on1 everybody else needed multiple defenders help. You also got to realize HALF the defense are rookies with no preseason to learn. Its week one.

Dude can actually play hes noticeable on almost every play on the field and he was in place in Coverage but he seems to panic.. On the first pass interference call he pull the receiver which was actually pulling away for the catch so either way he was beat but decent cover there and the second penalty could have been avoided if he could’ve stopped his forward momentum and covered with his hands/arms the same way Troy PRIDE did even tho Troy missed the knock away by inches for a touchdown, Pride avoided the easy penalty still….
He’s awful in pass coverage. Great run defense tackler though.

Saw a lot of positives with the Panthers play yesterday. They haven’t had enough “live” game reps to even gel yet, there is no shortcut to having experience.They will get better and I appreciate the entire team never quit yesterday. We had the lead with 4ish minutes to go in the 4th quarter. Defense didn’t make the plays when needed, full stop. Overall, I am impressed with how well the team did play when considering no preseason, & no preseason games this year, everyone has to tamper down on their expectations with these guys. We all knew that New Orleans would most likely/should be, the dominant team in our division this year, great how everyone but them lost yesterday. So, this extremely young team is still in great shape going forward, Keep Pounding!
