As a Panthers fans, I’m upset we lost. But in all seriousness, I am extremely impressed with how this team has played since we fired Matt Rhule. We have been a more complete team and we play with heart. I know we are 2-6 but we have showed a lot of promise. This season is not over yet. Only 2 games back and are still in play. Even if this season does end short of the playoffs, I’m really excited about our future… #KeepPounding
@1one 2two i mean we have a 4th string qb playing with an interim coach with a bunch of guys goin in to their 2nd and 3rd year with injuries on the defensive end i mean thats not bad or amazing buh atleast we’re showing progress
@1one 2two You got a bunch of valid points there I do remember PJ being turnover prone but so are Darnold and Baker if not worse.. imo PJs INT today was an outstanding play by the defensive end and he’s done a better job of limiting turnovers so far this season. I agree ab the pass rush aspect earlier this season having a rookie LT in his first game up against Miles Garrett is ab as tough as it gets but since then he’s improved along w the rest of the line. I couldn’t be happier that Rhules gone he wasn’t the guy for this organization. CMC and Robbie have been additions by subtraction besides the draft picks DJ is getting his targets Marshall is a factor now and Foreman is Mack truck as good as CMC is the opponents defenses knew our entire offense revolved around him. The first 7 games we avg 14.8 points per game over the last 2 were at 27.5 small sample size and I’m not saying it’s all bc of Wilkes but he has the team playing good football and with a passion I haven’t seen the last couple seasons.
Just shows me that,baker was the worst of the worst and robbie anderson couldnt run a decent route to save his life.
@1one 2two Bakers QBR was 15.1 and 50 is considered average QBR that speaks volumes and idk what happened to Robbie maybe he wanted out

Finally have an old school Panthers guy in charge again. Even if Wilks doesn’t remain as head coach, he’s EXACTLY what we need right now. This team has lost its identity in the Tepper era. It’s time to get back to hard nose football

@GameDreamer58 I mostly agree we should beat the Falcons on TNF, maybe the Lions and Steelers later in year.. but we’re not gonna play another defense as bad as this Falcons defense, they’ll have some more guys back for the TNF game.

@Kool Keith Dj had so much frustration from this year and the other years I would’ve taken my helmet off too😂
DJ was frustrated with himself for all the dropped passes. He knew he was capable of pulling down most any pass PJ would throw to him. Inside when he caught that end zone pass, I’m sure he was probably thinking it’s about time. There was no visible opponents close by when he took his helmet off and caused no danger to any other player. I think the call was too harsh. It was a crazy AWESOME play and I completely lost it watching it happen.

Hell of a game. Great throw by PJ. I love how he can get outside the pocket and make a play. I may be wrong but I think this is our highest output of the year on points. Just got to stop the mistakes and make some kicks. Keep pounding
It was refreshing to see this team fight today. It’s been a while since I can really say that.
The way we played today was the most keep pounding game we didn’t give up start to finish also I’m not suprized we are not talking about foremen he was a beast the last two games I think we had a running back that should of started since we got him

Despite all of the mistakes that were made, I was actually less mad at this game than the previous games before last week. I think the team is really coming into its own. Coach Wilks is doing a fine job so far. I understood it was going to take a while for the team to rebuild under the circumstances, but it seems they are starting to shine sooner than later. Even at the costs of possible high draft pick, I’m still satisfied how the team is progressing……Keep Pounding Fellas!!!
