Hey coach NO SORENSEN EVER ON CHASE. No blitz on 4th forever !! Never ever allow Dan to move people around at line as ball is snapped. This game is on you ! Times during year D really won games. This is your time to ADJUST do not get stuck . Be a middle pack D get some sacs and on to SB. you can be Great but slow to adjust especially in game. But if Jones , Clark , Ingram Reed get it started and sneed Ward Thornhill Fenton play correct and Dan gets very few snaps. CHIEFS WIN. You do not help fan support for Dan putting him in impossible situations for his skills.

I mean, idk why you haven’t told Ward to stop walking around to avoid making plays and randomly moving to cover 2 when everyone else in in man. It makes the safeties have to cover 2 people a lot of times. A good example of this was the one down the middle to “Davis” that it looked like it was “Thronhill” fault, but it wasn’t, WARD just stopped running halfway and started covering the “flats” and there wasn’t a man on either team within 30 yards of him. That’s just a small amount of the bizarre CB decisions being made. I like Wards long arms and Hughes tenacity, but Hughes size is going to be a problem every game in the red zone and Ward is digressing after 60 starts he just can’t pull it together. He hates being hit bc he fundamentally doesn’t know tackling form for some reason still & constantly taking plays off walk around when the ball is in the middle or other side of field. I mean Charvarious actually didn’t play “bad” defense as much as he screwed up last game against Chase…however Ward can’t have 1 INT (3in60 games) and then think it validates him. We need 2 Arnetter and Fenton at CB and Sneed or Watts at nickel.

I think of 2018, as amazing of a season as it was. We couldn’t buy a stop. I hope Spags never leaves. The players love him and so does the city.
Spags is telling who ben and hitch are as leaders. I can tell he has a great deal of respect for them and what they bring to the team. Great insight.
Hitch and Ben might be leaders, but they aren’t the athletes we need on field when better athletes are backing them up. Those two guys are constantly out of position and coming up late on tackles or being so far out of position they ‘just miss’ another arm-whiff tackle.
I’m sick of watching them being the weakest links on the field at any given moment, 95% of the time.
Hitch and Ben regularly get beat in coverage, have many missed tackles, and lack the speed to even cover RBs in the flats. Spags belief in veterans and leaders comes at the cost of favoring athleticism. He seems to think young players need years before they can start. Bolton and Gay have better coverage stats than Hitch, Nieman, or Sorensen, but Spags still takes them out on 3rd down. If Chiefs get torched this weekend on defense it will be because Spags refuses to adjust and constantly favors underperforming veterans — he can’t keep his job with that approach.

Ward shut down Diggs. He needs to do the same to Chase. The Chiefs’ front 4 has to pressure relentlessly. Sacks will be a premium in this game. Go Chiefs take it back
