Whenever I hear the humility and grounded approach guys like Shep and Bark have I always try and take a step back as a fan and remind myself these guys are humans. Not robots. They get hurt, they have struggles, and they’re out there trying. He cares. It’s obvious when they care and it’s obvious for the guys that don’t. So I always try not to be so hard. However… it is fandom and it’s part of the fun. To bash em when they don’t play well and praise them when they ball out. But off the field I never take it personally and get too out of line. I hope this team plays well and everyone starts off 0-0. So there’s a chance until there’s not. I’ll be honest… I’m optimistic that they’ll be better but I still don’t see a playoff team here yet. Still a lot of work on O & D lines and of course the biggest question mark ⁉️ is the QB position. Which IMO…. We don’t have one yet. I hope I’m wrong and I’ll be happy to be wrong.

Shep’s rookie year was my first year out of high school that’s crazy to think about. Dudes going into his 7th season already. Hopefully he can play most of the year.

He had so much potential and still does that injury really slowed him down

This dude is so down to earth and real. You’ve got to know. The Giants want guys like this in the locker room. I hope he retires here. He’s already proved how much he wants to stay by taking a pay cut to continue his journey with this one team. He’s the man I can’t wait for him to tear defenses apart. He was one of the only ones performing well in the past few years with horrible offensive schemes. Imagine him in this one 🤯

Ever since I witnessed Sheps first concussion at OU vs Baylor I’ve been worried and he’s had a number of concussions since. I just hope and pray that after football he’s going to be ok. At the end of the day, these men are human beings and as a fan I care more about their well being then what they do on the field.
