Steelers Press Conference (May 24): Mitch Trubisky | Pittsburgh Steelers

If Kenny wasn’t an older qb coming out of the draft I’d say it’s Trubisky’s job. Should be an interesting battle.

I love that he said, “playing hard and fast”. Who ever is QB1 week 1 will be the guy and I’m going to support. Here we go STEELERS!!

He is our Quarterback he just had to prove that this is his job in practice. I’m excited for him because I know he is going to work hard for Pittsburgh and the team! Let’s go Mitch.

Mitch and Kenny are both going to be great for the Steelers. The more I see Mitch speak as a Steeler, the more I like this kid! 💪🏼

Definitely think he’s going to be the starter and Pickett will spend the year learning. An unless he blows the chance I see Mitch starting an getting a longer contract

Mitch is a class act

Wasn’t loving him at first but I admit he’s winning me over.. rooting for him to be the starter

Mitchell Trubisky will and should be the starter in Week 1 in my opinion. If he falters and/or shits the bed, bring in 8.

We should start Mitch abs at least see what he can do. It’s only a 2 year contract so we should get the most out of him and let him raise his stock price so if we do move on from him after the 2 years he can land somewhere good for him at a good price. He seems like a dope guy 🖤💛

Mitch “the wizard ” tribusky along with Kenny “golden arm prospect” pickett and 3rd QB Chris ” The missile” Odadokun. We got 3 awesome qbs. Cant wait for the season to start…. Go Steelers! Also my ❤ goes out to Dwayne Haskins. Grateful, he mention the great Haskins himself…R.I.P Dwayne Haskins….You are home with God now. Be at peace.

I really want Pickett out there but in my gut I know Trubisky is the short term bet for success. We just want to win and light it up doing it. I am here for both guys.

As a Bears fan. Mitch Trubisky he has always been about the team and not himself. His strengths is that he has great leadership skills, very likeable guy to get his teammates behind him and excellent locker room presence. I want him to succeed with Steeler’s this season as starting QB. He is a tough player and never gives up and played with a separated shoulder injury when he played in Chicago and had his shoulder surgery off season to fix his shoulder. I sure hope the Steelers make Mitch the starter for 2022 season and the Steelers if they are a good team they can succeed with Mitch and make it to Super bowl. He got so close his 2nd year when he was able to be Mitch on the field and played his strengths we were NFC champs his 1st and 2nd year with us. 2nd season as a rookie with a strong defense and not to bad of an offense he made it to the wildcard playoffs and we would have won game if our kicker would have not missed the field goal and moved on to the 2nd round of the wildcard playoffs for the Super bowl. You have a great chance of winning and I know he has greatly improved since he has left Chicago. Everything went south his 3&4 year with new coach Nagy and Manager Ryan Pace that could not coach or put together a roster or a playbook that works about the strengths of the team and QB. Worst off Coach Nagy was stubborn headed coach wanted to do everything his way, stood up players, could not put together a playbook or make play calls in a game. Coach Nagy wanted to make Mitch a stay in the pocket throwing style QB. which he is not he is more of a weapon QB when he can move around outside of the pocket passing, running style QB that is his huge strengths. Mitch deserves to succeed and stay a starter with an NFL team for the remaining as a QB career in the NFL. I hope the Steelers is the team for Mitch. Remember it takes a team to win not just a good QB. Mitch will rally the team around him. One thing I can say about Mitch he definitely knows competition at the QB position and he knows how to compete since day 1 when he was drafted with Chicago Bears for the starting NFL QB job. I hope Steelers don’t make a big mistake and make him 2nd string over a rookie. You guys will lose him in 2 years when he is free from your contract and become a free agent again if he is not made starter and stay the starter unless he is injured. I hope not and Steelers coaching staff are smart enough to not let a rookie take the helm his first year could lead the team to not being in contention in the AFC for the Super Bowl in 2022 and they have the greatest chance with Mitch Trubisky. Go Mitch Go and this Steelers team this season for great successful season in reaching a Super Bowl and win.

Matt Stafford effect coming to Pittsburgh this season. We going to the superbowl idc if you doubt it just pick a new team. I got trust in his guy. Long live Haskins
