@Gary Lampkin yeah I believe so too, the best thing about all of this is Pittsburgh didn’t go all in on Trubisky with money, so now we see the signing of Myles Jack and the much needed offensive lineman that they signed as well. They could potentially make more moves too and they have good amount of money leftover and we haven’t even been in free agency that long. There are still a lot of solid players available.

@ken wahler if he worked on his footwork & accuracy, if not he will never be great. Go to The Tape Never Lies Network & you will find plenty of tape on him. It’s funny he mentioned not thinking & having fun because I noticed at 2 minute situations he was usually solid & that’s because he had no time to over think things so if he can string that together that’s a plus.

Bears fan here. Mitch is a beast. He’s one of the most clutch late game QB’s in the league. Steelers got away with robbery for the season and your long term QB needs are solved.

I am actually very sick of losing or being average, hence my reasoning for not wanting Mitch! Way to contradict yourself there though. U say I’m ok with losing but u want Mitch 😂 He will always be average, a game manager only. He might have a great game here & there like the TB game but he can’t be consistent. I hope he proves me wrong & I 💯 will be the 1st to admit I’m wrong! Many Bears fans are fine with average & it’s so frustrating, I agree with you there! That’s why I’m like wtf about wanting Mitch, I want us to be great & he isn’t great! Take his 2018 year away & what’s his record 17-17 or something like that which is average just like I’ve been saying. Everyone knows the defense was the reason we won that year. If he was worth $35-$40 million why didn’t he get close to that last year or right now? He had many issues outside of Nagy, that’s why! I’m glad he is getting a 2nd chance & hope he succeeds, but if he didn’t work on his feet & throwing motion it sadly won’t happen cuz his accuracy will still be trash.

@Rob M The only issue Trubisky ever had in Chicago was NAGY, and fans that couldn’t see the talent, past the rhetorical bs everyone was throwing at him. Mitch had Two shoulder injuries in two years and people threw him under the bus for it. Those fans should be ashamed of the way treated him. 2 shoulder injuries and they crucified him for it. disgusting

@Mandy to be fair, Mitch did make a Pro Bowl with Chicago in 2018. I wasn’t very happy when my Steelers signed him but hey at least it’s a cheap deal. I thought this press conference was good.

@killalltogepis991 to be fair our defense was the reason we were so good that year! He also didn’t make the pro bowl outright. I think he was a 2nd alternate. My brother & his kids are die hard Steelers fans so I hope he does good! He got seriously screwed over by Nagy so he does deserve another chance. Just can’t stand when ppl act like Nagy was THE issue cuz Mitch had alot of issues outside of Nagy. Apparently he worked on his footwork & throwing motion so if that’s true & he has learned how to read defenses I think he can actually be a good QB.

Before free agency started I was really, really hoping we would pick up Mitch, and I have to say since it started, I love how the vast majority of Bears fans have all come on board to say how much they love Mitch and hope he kills it, I’m not kidding I’ve really started to love your fanbase and the love they show for the QB that got the raw end of the deal and now has a chance for redemption. While I obviously hope he does well because I’m a Steelers fan, more than anything I’m just so stoked that so many people that believed in this man and saw him get his career torpedoed by an incompetent staff are so excited and happy for him, regardless of football you guys have some very awesome and classy people in your fanbase and I really fucking love it.
