Not taking any snap this year for granted. We were so lucky to have him. Thank you 7

Ben gets so much undeserved hate from the spoiled fans amongst us. Bottom line is he’s far better than any other Qb on our roster. His best days are obviously far behind him but the dude still lays it on the line for his team every week. Hopefully he can finish out strong.

    KELLY RILEY

    👍 agreed

jakedaily

I don’t wanna lose him. Ben is my all time favorite QB.

    Ed Barr

    Me too!

Dirty Dan

im going to shed tears when this man retires

    Montse Gómez Rdz

@Just Learning I’ve been enjoying each game as if it was the last ):

    Just Learning

@Montse Gómez Rdz yes it’s going to be weird not to see him out there no matter what I’m watching ever game go Steelers

    Montse Gómez Rdz

    @Just Learning HWGS!! 🖤💛

    Glenn Jones

I will proudly stand and cheer. I have seen a lot of great Steelers players come and go in my long lifetime. Ben has been the best.

    Laura Marzen

same here..might need a sick day from work

Skyhunter

Let’s go boys, get the W on Thursday!

Marc Derogatis

We will really appreciate him once we draft the next qb and have to start the rebuild .

    Nathan Tewkesbury

I didn’t know they rebuild in Pittsburgh. Maybe reload but rebuild huh. Really!! So Jacksonville Houston Detroit etc etc. Those are who the Steelers are about to be huh?? Wow okay

    Gary Lampkin

Hard to believe 17 years have gone by since that magical rookie year of ’04…

    Mike Cox

We are technically already in the beginning of the “rebuild” with rookies starting on the O-line and relying on a rookie running back and tight end to be high contributers on offense. I think if we can get an elite right or left tackle and just a good stop gap QB in 2022 before we draft the franchise guy we will be 👍

    Nathan Tewkesbury

Guess we should appreciate a rebuild all while making the playoffs in the same year ehhh. Wow it’s Great to be a Steeler. Yinzers

    Ankit Bhasi

@Nathan Tewkesbury We are kind of in a rebuild, but not really. We will be good as long as we have a good defense and with Mike Tomlin who can’t have a losing season. If we get him, Kenny Pickett will be an amazing game manager for us in his first years (kind of like Ben but not really)

Wrestling with Art

They may have 16 guys who have sacks but TJ Watt has 16 sacks in 9.25 games.

Victory Asher

I’ve been giving Big Ben a lot of heat over the years….concerning many topics. But man, this dude is a competitor and I’m glad he’s been a Steelers QB. You will be missed Ben, that’s for sure.

    Francisco Herrera

You are not alone. What’s funny, is that now that Lamar is under- achieving, the newscasters all blame the lack of protection from the O-line. Duh!!!!!

    Ankit Bhasi

@Francisco Herrera 7 sacks is a lot tbh, but tbf he held on to the ball way too long

xTheJoexRF

I am eternally grateful for Ben…he blessed me and the rest of Steelers Nation with multiple Superbowl Victories and big time plays I will never forget. If this is his last ride, I like Tomlin, “I’m with him on it!”…

Stanley Sheffield

Ben, I have a Black and gold DNA.
And because of you, I love my Pittsburgh Steelers even more. You put your blood sweat and tears in the Steelers Nation for 18 yrs. Your service to this wonderful city is highly appreciated. I will teach my grandbabies about you just as I was taught about the great Terry Bradshaw.
Because of you and Bill cowher who undeniably was the mentor of your success.
Hat’s off to you and your the proud owner of the number #7 Pittsburgh .

Ed Barr

Big Ben 4 Life!! #7 will always be the best Steelers QB ever!!

drew bille

greatest of all time in my book!!! My favorite player all time also.

Kody and Carly

Grew up watching Ben going to be sad when he’s gone

Joshua F

I really do believe the big guy is the greatest of all time, the signature moments, the stats, and the way he played are unmatched. There will never be anybody like Big Ben again, he really is a throwback QB

    Bruins1970

    Not even close

Bobby Macblain

I really wish this man could play out his final season with nothing but love, and respect from his fans that he has sacrificed so much for in his long career. All the great memories he’s given us, and all the tough injuries he’s played through for us. Come on Steeler nation we gotta be better. STOP TRASH TALKING THIS LEGEND.

    Tanner Henry

No doubt had alot of great times because of this man I’ve wat he’d at least 30 or more times where this man drove our team down the field and won for us and he has more than what I’ve watched personally he has more than tom Brady with 51 total game winning drives like come on he has so many records that are close to brady or better this man is definitely top 5 all time and I’m glad to teach my.kids who I grew up watching much love big ben hope you get another superbowl and another season before we start a full rebuild cuz then we are really gonna wish we didn’t complain till he was gone

    Laura Marzen

amen and I agree.ben never gets the respect he deserves

ThaRealest616

Much luv to Big Ben always been a great QB one of the greatest of all time. I’d take Ben over anyone trailing in the 4th quarter to win the game. Mr. Clutch

WP SN

To Ben haters, deal with these resume FACTS:

* 5th all time in wins
* 5th all time in completions
* 5th all time passing yards (in about 1 or 2 games from now)
* 5th all time in passing TD’s (when combining regular + post season)
* 4th all time in 4th quarter comebacks
* 3rd all time in game winning drives
* tied for 1st all time in perfect passer rating games
* 1st all time in 500+ yard games
* 13 playoff wins, 5 conference championship games, 3 Super Bowls, 2 rings
* Led the league in passing yards 2 seasons and yards-per-game 3 seasons.
* Only QB in league history to throw 6 TD’s in back to back games.
* Youngest Superbowl winning quarterback in history.
* Greatest Super Bowl winning touchdown pass in history.
* Rookie Of The Year with a 15-1 record as a damn rookie!
* The Steelers haven’t had a losing season since they drafted him 18 years ago.

He’s done all this in a cold, windy, snowy, rainy all-outdoor northern division, he’s done it with referees that allowed roughing towards him that they’d NEVER allow towards Brady/Brees/Rodgers, he’s done it while competing with a Spygating team the first years of his career, and he’s done it with a coaching staff that wouldn’t let him throw much until his late 20’s.

Every sexual assault allegation about him was dismissed with zero charges. Every allegation that he was “the problem in the Steelers locker room with AB” ended up CLEARLY being AB as the crazy one. He’s done it through so many surgeries, broken bones, and tears that I’ve lost count.

The man is an absolute warrior who has put up a historic, all-time great resume in the top 5 of damn near everything, and yet, media haters try to lowball him as the “15th or 20th” best QB ever. That’s nonsense. Big Ben is a Top-10 QB all time AND his resume supports it across the board.

THEE ONLY stats that Big Ben is weak on, his “human voting stats” (MVP’s, All Pros, etc). Looking at his actual accomplishments vs. his human voting stat awards, tells you all you need to know about the gap between Ben’s actual greatness vs. sportswriters constantly denying Ben his due throughout his career.

I hope the Hall Of Fame voters make things right by inducting this ALL TIME GREAT QB on the very first ballot.

    Tanner Henry

He is definitely first ballot for sure top 5 all time one of the greatest QBs to play the game

Dino

Is it me or does Ben seem rejuvenated after that game? He’s had so much enthusiasm after that performance!

Deb Scovronske

Ben, I live 30 minutes from Lambeau Field but I’ve been a Steelers fan since Bradshaw had hair!!! I will always remember you from your rookie year through this your final year with the Steelers..God bless you!!

mark fusco

Big Ben.. this MAN has taken a beating has whole career but he hangs in there every week. Brady would have never lasted that long if he got hit that much.. Great job Ben as usual
