At the beginning of the year, the Ravens defense was terrible, while the Steelers had a great defense all season.
It needs to be devin bush and Vince williams in the starting role we lost games because of mark barron missing tackles
@Ryan Irwin- Diehl possibly. But a good deal with him, and moving Edmunds might be the move. But I’m not the Steelers, and can’t test it out.

He’ll stay with the Steelers, and there’s a chance, albeit small, that he plays a few snaps in the preseason or training camp. But his full return is probably 2 years away if he is ever going to come back.

@jw1 he’s trying guys. And how come every “Shaliever” no longer “Shalieves”? He is working out harder than most people, and at the level of some rookies right now. There’s a legitimate chance that he tries out his body in a real game this season before coming back next year.
Our defence will be fine so long as with our second round pick we get a Bud Dupree replacement. Or if we can resign Bud, then get a speedy wideout.
I think we already franchise tagged bud dupree. Im hoping for a te or a rb in the second
@CensingSceptile the tag and resigning are 2 drastically different things, even if he had been tagged already. But if he is, a Wideout would be best, especially a fast one. Juju had the “after the catch” ability, and Johnson is the route runner. That leaves speed as the last need. Rb’s we are good on. Connor should make a comeback, and Snell will have it covered if he doesn’t. Tight end, seems like a need, but we have Nick who will be solid with Ben. And honestly it’s between Vance and Dupree as to who gets the contract, and I’m guessing it’s Bud just because of his play, and their backups. Zach Gentry should show up either this year, or have a breakout year next year. A good deep threat for Ben is key right now.
Watt, Bush, and Fitpatrick are going to be a power trio for at least the next 10 years.
Watt will be 35 in ten years, I don’t see his athleticism holding up that much.
@Ryan Irwin- Diehl players are extending their playing time in many ways. E.g. Jerry Rice, Tom Brady, Emmitt Smith, and our very own Heath Miller.
a b All of those guys were on offense to be fair. It’s much harder to be an elite defensive player with new offensive speed and strength coming into the league every year. Look at JJ Watt, Xavier Rhodes. Plagued by injuries and just not being able to keep up. Aaron Donald is the only defensive player I can’t see slowing down. Sure, he could but it’s unlikely
