Staley like every other coach we’ve had is a glorified motivational speaker all words no action

You got that right. I think of Tony Robins everytime I hear him talk.
This man fooled us all.
It’s evident in his handling of the defense (allowing the opposing teams best weapon to have season highs against them).
It’s evident in his handling of the offense (not holding Lombardi accountable for his unimaginative, predictable, and ineffective play calling).
It’s evident by him backtracking his philosophies relative to results (disingenuous and misrepresentative comments surrounding the run defense relative to pass defense).
The only successful part of this team is the special teams and that credit should fall entirely on Ryan Ficken (evidenced by comparing last years ST unit vs this year).
Staley is a fraud who speaks eloquently but clearly has a disconnect between his words and the implementation of those words.

Staley calls plays for the 30th ranked scoring defense. Lombardi got roasted by Dan Orlavsky and Marcus Spears for his trash playcalling. Fire both of these frauds and that clown Tom Telesco. 🤡
Have been a huge Staley supporter since the hiring, but the fact that he has not made a change at O-coordinator or made any defensive scheme adjustments is very alarming…he’s starting to show his true colors as a head coach
I was too. I stood up for him up until that Seahawks game. After that game I was out on Staley. He’s a used car salesman to me now
I’m not even sure how much it’s the defensive scheme…that unit is really poorly coached
No changes means like he’s for the status quo
The minute he fails to make the playoffs will be out the door and Justin Herbert will have a coach worthy of his talent

@LEGION 13 he won’t be let go he grew up a chargers fan, he’s humbled and I’m sure he doesn’t care about the money. I feel like we’re going to sign him for a steal. I’m not a new fan either I’ve been here from the ups and downs and yes it gets annoying year after year over the same bs

@LEGION 13 OC play calling from Lombardi IMO was based on adjusting to Brees’ short height. He couldnt see down the field….too short..in crowded defenses, it was dink/dunk for Brees the majority of the time. J Herb is beyond this.

We haven’t scored a TD in the 3rd quarter since week 5. We’ve only scored a field goal in the 3rd since week 6. Second half adjustments are a DIRECT reflection on the coaching staff and we seemingly fail every single week. THIS COACHING STAFF NEEDS TO GO. I don’t expect Spanos to actually pay big for a coach like Payton or Harbaugh but THIS CLOWN SHOW gotta go
