The run defense has improved so much! Last year after two games the opposition averaged 156 yds rushing per game. This year after two games the opposition is averaging 79 yds per game.
People forget, Chase Daniel is no slouch… He was the backup QB for one of the greatest QBs of all time (Brees) for damn near a decade. He can certainly run the offense while the receivers and defense carry the bulk of the load. Most important thing is to protect/preserve Herbert at all costs. Herbert is on an all-time great trajectory, we need him at 100%. BOLT UP ⚡️

Herbert is a true football player, staying in through the pain and getting that touchdown. Huge amount of courage and willingness for Herbert to do that. I don’t think that Pick 6 was Herberts fault, the play was rushed and we had a winded TE attempting a stick route. Not a good combo. Coach needs to do better with understanding his personnel’s endurance and not passing on 1st and goal with Sony Michel or Ekeler in the backfield.

@Edgar 14 when Lombardi needs to be aggressive he runs predictable plays then at the goal like when you could be predictable does the aggressive play for a pick 6. Cant see this happen or else he’ll be canned

Based on Coach Staley’s response re: the health of our players I think us fans just need to know that everyone is day-to-day. Meaning Mon-Tues, Tues-Wed, Wed-Thurs, Thurs-Fri. Rest Sat and then we’ll see Sun. Either way, it’s day-to-day. Bolt fam, let’s ride. ⚡
As a jags fan, i don’t expect us to win but i do think we keep it close (only because Herbert is injured). However, if we do win, you need to find a replacement for Lombo, he’s holding your electric offense back
Adversity came early this season! Hope Herbert feels better, totally okay with him sitting out against those Jags that defense is truly awesome. Hate for Herbert to go up against that right after his injury but I wanted to see Justin’s # stay really high .
The fact that he came back in the game finished strong and stayed on field to shake hands he didn’t get rushed off into the locker room they had a long week he is already in normal practice routine is all good news. Make sure he gets a longer rib protector and Kevlar vest to protect him
If Herbert plays then I heard that a good plan would be to throw on 1sr down instead of running. Probably the best down to throw on so Herbert stays safe
Chase Daniel is going to start this week, we need a big game from the defense. Chase needs to manage the game, and we will get the win 🏆
