It’s been tinfoil vs silly putty the past 5 years.

stephen2015

I’ve never cared what pff grades were. When he played they ran the ball a hell of a lot better and Thomas turned his year around with Shane next to him. I’m rooting for him.

    Vince Cohen

The truth is none of us care about PFF until the grades are awesome for our players lol

    Elite 4 Master Will

See, a fan that watch tape & don’t listen to PFF.

    Nick Spagnola

Funny enough he was rated a elite run blocker coming out of college and most knew he would struggle in pass protection but I believe he can get there, he has tons of potential.

    stephen2015

@Vince Cohen well then they get it right. Lol. Nah, pff also gave Azeez a poor grade and 8 sacks as a rookie where he was the only edge presence was fine with me. I also saw him abuse a few OTs late in the year. I think it was Philly late that the entire first half he was in the backfield. They adjusted their entire protection to him the second half (I’m pretty sure it was Philly but not certain I remember rt). Point just is we can tell who beats their man. They also just don’t account for system and responsibility. Graham ran a passive system. Azeez wasn’t turned lose really. Just using him as an example but there are a ton of guys that don’t get the grades they deserve cause pff has no real idea what the players responsibility was in any play.

That same injury ended Victor Cruz’ career. Shane only had a partial tear of the patella tendon. I wonder if it would have been the same for Cruz if it were partial? Glad guys can recover from that injury.

    Kevin Burke

I think it’s a little different when comparing receiver who got to do cuts real fast different movements as compared to a lineman

Viva La Frenchie!!!!

I could never understand why NYG never put value in OL & LB for so many decades. It’s why they never score in Red zone & never stop anyone on 4th & 40.

    xxDAMIENxx823 C

What are you talking about we literally just drafted an OL in the 1st 2nd 3rd and 4th rounds damn near the past decade πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€” now LB I don’t think we picked a 1st 2nd or 3rd round LB in more than a decade plus probably more than that

    John Blaze

@xxDAMIENxx823 C I’m not counting busts on the OL. Last LB they drafted that could play was Jessie Armstead. I’ve been watching too long to not know what I’m talking about,

Daniel🀟🏾

He’s ok but not a starter

    Adam F

He’s barely played yet. It’s called developing players.

    MoneyMonkeyMan

No he played great next to Thomas and they had good chemistry and made each other better

    stacey killings

How does anyone know this yet ? I guess you wrote Andrew Thomas off as a starter too, after his 1st season.

DW X

Shane Lemieux kinda looks like William Forsythe, hope the medical allows for needed depth

Elite 4 Master Will

Shane is the “BEST” LG to play with Andrew Thomas so far. There’s no debate. Shane is Winning that job.

    Daniel Nigra

while i do not necessarily disagree, Joshua Izeudu will be Tough competition for him. Either of them could start.

    Satori Tendō

@Daniel Nigra why not both πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

i like this dude. just wants to rip your eyes out and then he’ll tell you to look at him!

Glenn Yates

Lemieux got the Adolph stache goin.

Giants have had some great oline along with D lines 22 version oline needs to get nasty. In a Conrad Dobler kinda way. Not a Giant but had that edge with the St Louis Cardinals of the NFC EAST

redpepperdave

I’m glad he’s healthy again, hope to see him play well and get back into the rotation at the very least

DomCornelius

These reporters can talk to players about anything and they keep asking about nicknames…grow up

Amazing Guy

I didn’t even think about them being teammates before

Mister EIE

I really like this guy. His demeanor is great, he’s sharp, and he’s a straight shooter. I hope he can develop to the point where he can reach his potential, and at the very least stick around as a high quality backup.

Michael Peragine

This young man personifies an old school New York Giants o-lineman in the image of Richie Seubert, David Diehl and Chris Snee. He lives and breathes football and dreams about pancaking defensive players. His interviews and press conferences are refreshing because he speaks his mind, he’s not a cliche’ machine. I hope he’s a lifetime NYG. Tough as nails, plays with a mean edge that rubbed off on Andrew Thomas who before Shane replaced Hernandez was more of a finesse tackle. I hope he earns the left guard starting job this training camp.

Davis Sinclair

Shane has to be better in pass protection. He’s a good young guard in the run game. Great to see him healthy. That’s good for Jones.
