Our kicker has been on a downward spiral for a year now. His first year, sure he was ok. Not now. Numbers don’t lie. If we keep him, we’re not 100% committed to winning.

@Craig J. Did you go to Indiana public school, seems like it. How is missing fewer kicks a downward spiral? He was also injured. Go compare his stats to any other kicker, they are extremely average. His numbers are similar to Vini’s early numbers. Also, Vini had some atrocious seasons in Indy kicking under 80%.

I think Bubba knew Rod was fired right before he did the press conference and since it was very clear that Rod was such a good guy in the locker room, Bubba was thrown off. It’d also be very hard to take the blame for a loss that is actually Rod’s fault, a guy who isn’t on the team anymore

he’s one of the best in the league imo. He’s coached up some special teams beasts like Dulin, Odum, Zaire, Ej Speed.. Blocked punts, good punt coverage. It’s not his fault he’s had incapable kickers.
Definitely not. He’s a good special teams coach and is very smart. Not his fault his kicker was a weak leg and the yips
