Well maybe not the best pick but made this kids dream come true. Hope he competes with Rush for the Backup QB
Rush looked great in that one time he was with the starters. Actually he looked like he should have been our starter and was able to read the field better than anyone we’ve had after Romo. But that was the only time we actually got to see him with a starting team against a starting defense.

Small school kid…he looks to have a good arm and scans the field well.. some mobility….led the nation in completion pct….looks like a great project QB to me
@MisterJonesification he did look great, drove down with ease and made the deep passes. But again that all we ever saw of him without the benchers blocking for him.

Wish we would take backup qb more serious… it’s the same thing with that position… we over look it and put it on the back burner and everytime we go after one in the later rounds or undrafted FA … they not solid enough… one of these seasons it’s gone be just our luck that we wished we picked up a solid backup qb like everybody else
