I’m a Seahawks fan but I’ve been seeing all the lions games the past three seasons. This was a tough game but at least was close and entertaining.

I’m not surprised at the year Geno’s having. He’s always had talent. He just had the misfortune of being drafted by the Jets. They’re known for destroying QBs. This is really the first time in his career he’s had decent talent around him.

What a game, so much to see to just resume in few words. Despite their best wr weapons were out, the lions put a tough battle and they were a little bit too undisciplined to get a well needed win. But i can’t be hard with them, they got the vibe, they got the desire, I’m sure they will learn a lot this year again. Wait for them in the next years 🙂

@Jonny 5ive In 2014 (the year you won your superbowl) The Seahawks were the 27th ranked passing offense, 1st ranked rushing offense and the 1st ranked defence. I think saying Russ led the Seahawks to a superbowl is incredibly ignorant when you look at these stats and still say Russ led the Seahawks to a superbowl
@KuroKuma is the best Amen!! Russel lost it when he started believing he was a passing QB only. He’s too short and he definitely got too slow over time and with injuries and maybe even because he took his focus off being fast. He also seemed more and more confused as to when to run and when to pass. Of course, over time, i think most intelligent fans of the game realize that as he gets older and slower he’ll become a massive liability. Seahawks should have traded him 3-4 years ago, KNOWING how much resentment there was for his entitlement, me first attitude. Makes you appreciate Brady taking less money to ensure a winning team.
Besides, as someone who started watching Seahawks football in 1981, the fans have always appreciated and loved the gritty, determined players…. and despised the “DIVAS”, which RW definitely became… if he wasn’t in fact one after the first SB win… which had absolutely NOTHING to do with him.
