Love angry Sean. Now do something about this wide receivers room for next year. Draft SOMEBODY SEAN. Even with a healthy Michael Thomas, that can’t be your only skill player. Get Alvin and Mike some help. Dudes are in their prime. Stop depending on these 5th string receivers with nothing to lose.

if y’all didn’t play such a gross game last week this loss wouldn’t be so bad… but your receivers failed you then too.. smh… Pretty good defense with a terrible offense makes a average at best team. No post season this year Sean.

    @Constantine Stefanidis true. There are no great teams this year in either conference. And injures are piling up against everyone, and there will be more. Saints remain somewhat competitive due to their defense and of course, Sean is still a great coach.

    Bruh all of our pass catchers not named Harris are not good. Semen has played well enough to win if we had someone who could catch a ball. How do you make it to the NFL as a receiver to even a practice squad if you literally cannot catch a football?

    @Van Bennett As I understood that he played a big role in picking who he wants. I’ve always heard coach Payton has a big say in who gets signed but that could be wrong

    @tier1solutions28 Oh, I think Coach Payton does have a say, but in the end it’s up to Loomis to make the dollars work and sign the players. The Saints have had salary cap issues for a long time, and that doesn’t show any improvement. Since the salary cap is an issue, the organization has traded picks and cash for free agents, leaving them with limited draft picks. I would like the Saints to emulate the New England club when it comes down to player personnel. They always have a good cushion for the draft because they trade actively. Rookie contracts are comparatively inexpensive to veteran contracts, saving the club money to get them into a position to pay the free agents if needed.

In all honesty, this has been more than I expected post Brees. They’re rebuilding. It’s fine. It’s normal. I’m not angry. It’ll be fine next season if not this one. I don’t expect another Brees offense right out the gate. ⚜️

Trust the process, in Sean Payton I trust. We found Michael Thomas and Alvin kamara in the draft. I believe In sean Payton to find best players to rebuild/ reevaluate or team. It might not be next yr but the year after next we would have found our grove again. Sean could probably pull it off faster than that but I want to give a little leeway without no longer having drew.

I’ve got to think that Sean is as upset with Trautman as he’s been with the on field performance of any player since he’s been here, and the Michael Thomas situation is the most frustrating off the field situation. In the past Brees was a buffer. Without him around, it’s not as much fun.
