@Joey Manning I assume he was rated as best player available. Warford has a good contract so although people are saying we can’t get anything for him, he did goto the last 3 pro bowls. I think he has good value in this draft or for future picks or player swaps in-season (would be rare). Actually Warford in his last year. But We’re not done!

Caleb Jackson I think we trade him away and pick up a replacement in post draft free agency to fill in and give the interior line breaks every now and then and play if needed (due to injury) pick up a guy for insurance

Thomas Watkins Easton rn is our “6th man” you could say. I’d be happier with trading him for depth at corner or wr through draft or player for player

We ranked second in the NFL behind cowboys for the best offensive line! Yet the linebacker core is exposed! Even the NFL Analyst said that the Saints struggled in that area! So we just pretty much drafted a player in the first to be a reserve. When We could have got Demario some damn help with selecting Queen… But yeah great pick smfh

@Richie Rich Peat and Warford underperformed all year. We couldn’t run the ball consistently and the Vikings put their best pass rushers as DTs to exploit the interior. That is something many teams are going to take note of. Our tackles are phenoms, Mccoy is going to be a phenom, but the guard situation is lacking. We could not move the ball against the Vikings or Rams, both likely playoff teams, or some other team with great interior defenders will be. Linebackers did fine but it os a weeakness, Demario was elite and the defensive line was so good, our run defense was top notch anyway. Demario gets most of the difficult coverage duties and excels. Its something they still need to address, but they mostly play with an extra safety and 2 linebackers anyway.And if Anzalone can remain on the field he is a very good player. No doubt the need depth, but they have more rounds to add it.

Our OL is what cost us the playoff game.We do need some depth there.I know we needed to get the linebacker, corner and safety mess cleaned up.But you know when Brees can stand in the pocket there is nobody better.We also know Loomis and Payton can pull a rabbit out of the hat in a new york minute.I trust those two.

@RC Headhuncho yes….and what caused the fumble? Brees hurried and not comfortable because the defense was getting through the line.Playcalling too.There was no adjustments at halftime or very little.

Minnesota’s D Line blew up our O Line in the playoffs, particularly at guard. Minnesota lined their DE over our guards and manhandled them. We got exposed, which prompted this pick. If our O Line was stronger we beat Minnesota and move on. Our run game was stifled too, Kamara had a sub par season.
