The Rams is a training camp for players and coaches. Every season other teams pluck coaches from the Rams. Why do they like Rams coaches under McVay so much?

John Madden & Joe Gibbs are both from Don Coryell’s coaching tree. All Rams fans owe it to themselves to watch Fred Dryer telling the story of his recruiting trip at San Diego State at the eulogy/funeral of Coach Coryell. It’s on YouTube. Coach Madden also eulogizes his old mentor at the time. Old school molders of men. They were intensely passionate in their compassion for their players. Madden has gone to join the coaching staff under Coryell once again, and all of us would be lucky to make that team. BTW, Vermeil, Martz, and their old offensive line coach in St.Louis as well as Ernie Zampeisee all have connections to the Coryell “tree”.
