I can’t see how Stafford would ever want to play another snap of football. Leading to a permanent QB spot open for the Rams and Baker Mayfield is the perfect bridge QB until further notice. I could see McVay and Mayfield clicking very well and after next season if he isn’t the guy we can move off of him. I think Cleveland bailed on him too early. We will find out

    I could definitely see Stafford retire especially due to the concussions. Baker would be a great bridge QB between stafford and the future.

The offensive line couldn’t hold up for Matthew Stafford… I hope they give Baker a chance to come back next year (and be a backup of Stafford doesn’t retire) but I don’t think things will go much better for the rams this season. Just too many injuries and a porous offensive line.

I’m glad Mcvay brought up the injury. He gets too much criticism for that. He put it all on the line for us. Case keenum wasn’t getting us a Super Bowl. Baker tried and he was crucified for that.

I love baker, as Sean said he’s a competitor. As a packers fan, rodgers might be the most talented passer ever but has 0 competitiveness. I’d rather have a guy like baker who might be less talented but will give you everything he has every time he steps on the field
