Sean McDermott: “We Will All Grow After This Experience” | Buffalo Bills

Bills Head Coach Sean McDermott spoke to the media on Monday following the team’s 35-23 win over the New England Patriots in the last regular season game. Topics included: His reaction to seeing Damar after he was able to fly back home to Buffalo this morning, supporting players and staff and providing a way to protect their mental health throughout all this, his confidence in Tre’Davious White and him getting back into the swing of things, facing the Miami Dolphins this week for the third time this season, and the atmosphere that Bills fans create when the team plays at home.

This is why he is such a great coach not just coaching wise but his team wise

Im telling you, this team NEEDS just 1 SB win and it’ll start a chain reaction of more SB W’s. Sean will turn into the next Bellichick.

Great Care Cinncinnatti
Go Bill’s
Coach of the Year!!

Ugh these reporters are so terrible. Ask some decent questions. Pass rush was terrible yesterday, any strategies to improve? What is the status of Spencer Brown ankle? Any thoughts on John Brown and/or Beasley getting more playing time in playoffs? Any comment on Davis’ continued issues with dropped passes?

    D Yates

Agreed. We are ALL happy about the news, but how about, you know, addressing the incredibly horrid pass defense and if it’s not addressed they are one and done, or at MOST two and done in the playoffs this season? I LOVE this team and always will, but the amount of deficiencies are insurmountable against the Chiefs and Bengals, and OTHER teams, if not all, this post season, but we’re still talking about Damar’s progress and subsequent release from the Cincinnati hospital, and it’s getting almost comical at this point how they’re avoiding talking about the pink elephant which is they barely win against mediocre teams now. Allen and Diggs can’t do it alone all the time.

    They’re great questions

It’s true!we needMicah Hyde more than ever! What about Belford- is he coming back next game?

Lyn

Why aren’t you more concerned about the terrible amount of dropped passes this year. Davis and Mckenzie have been awful. Is it time to look at other receivers? I would like to see Shakir used more .

    100%

    Agreed!

Hey Sean how much growing does this team have to do before it starts to play like a champion? You are winning games by the skin of your teeth. I feel your luck is about to run out in the playoffs.

Thank God Damar Hamlin is home! I hope Cole Beasley is back for the dolphins! A 4 game stretch is the playoffs unless you get the #1 seed then 3 games! 1 game and 1 play at a time! Please keep praying for D Ham! Dolphins can play in the cold scoring 29 points here last game! Don’t blink!

Fare thee well Buffalo Damar is the spirit of Buffalo. I can’t watch anymore games the emotions are too great and in my old age I am too cynical. My 2 professional sports are the football ones I have 2 give them up as I have given up the NBA and the rest. I hope you win it all. It’s the doubt that scares me away the price is too high. Love you guys COYBILLS!!!

So proud to be a bills fan !!! Definitely coach of the year

I watched the game on Monday night. My son turns 24 on the 23rd. I cried when he went down and the commentators said they were doing CPR on him. I prayed immediately to our Heavenly Father to save him and be with him and the family, team, and fans.
It is so humbling to see how the Cincinnati Bengals’ coaches, medical team, players, fans, and everyone around the USA and world was praying for Damar and Supporting Damar’s Charity and how it exploded with donations.
God has been so good through this episode that Damar went through, everyone has been so relieved when the first positive news was given on Wednesday when Damar asked if they won Monday night’s game, but knowing that he has been discharged from UCH and is back in Buffalo, is awesome. There is no place like home for recovery when you are sick. Being closer to his family and friends.
I hope he is able to see his little brother.
Continued prayers for Damar, medical staff, family, coaches, team, and fans.
